Meet Leda - she is the sister to Vega. Leda is a sweet and caring girl. She is extremely affectionate and loves a cuddle. She is the calmer of the two girls and can spend her day lounging around, but she does really love playing fetch and running around outside too! Leda has never been without her sister Vega, so rehoming both together would be ideal. Leda would be best suited to a family who will enjoy all the misses and cuddles she has to give. She is great with other dogs, cats, children/babies.

This is Vega - she is the sister of Leda. Vega is a charismatic soul. She loves kisses and cuddles and is very much driven by food! Vega enjoys playing with her sister, taking naps, and running around playing fetch throughout the day. Vega would be well suited to somebody who loves cuddling just as much as she does and can handle big dogs. Vega has never been apart from her sister Leda, so rehoming them together would be ideal.

Story
Miley is a beautiful purebred Belgian Malinois with so many wonderful qualities. She is smart, loyal, energetic, and truly a special dog. This is not an easy decision for me, because Miley is a very good girl and deserves a loving home where she can thrive and get all the attention she needs. The reason I am looking to rehome her is not because there is anything wrong with her. Unfortunately, she has ongoing fights with her mother, and for their safety and well-being, I believe it is best to separate them. Miley deserves a peaceful environment where she can be happy, relaxed, and loved without stress. She is a strong, stunning, and intelligent dog, and with the right home, she can be an amazing companion. I want to find someone who understands the Malinois breed, appreciates how special she is, and can give her the stable, caring home she deserves. This comes from love, not from giving up on her. I simply want what is best for Miley and for everyone involved.

Story
Archie is what happens when someone orders a Malinois mix and selects “extra legs, fewer opinions.” He is long and lanky like a beanstalk, with soft short fur, a cheerful face, and the posture of a tiny aristocrat who absolutely knows which fork is for salad. When he settles, he sits with his paws crossed like he’s waiting for the tea service to begin. A fancy man. A gentleman. A scholar, probably. And then one of his favorite people appears. Suddenly the dignified lord of the manor becomes all bounce and sparkle, like his whole body just remembered joy was an option. Archie loves his people deeply. It may take him a second with someone new, because he is an observant, sensitive soul, but once he clocks that you are kind, that you are safe, that you might be his person, he bonds fast and fully. For a Malinois mix, Archie is almost suspiciously calm. Calm but fun. Watchful but silly. Playful but polite. He walks nicely on leash, though he can get excited when he sees other dogs because, obviously, friendship may be happening and he would like to be considered. Archie loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine friend. He would do best with older kids or calmer kids, since young kid chaos makes him nervous. Cats are unknown. Here is the part that makes my heart ache a little. Archie came into rescue as a puppy with two siblings. They were both adopted quickly. Archie, somehow, is still waiting. Not because he is less wonderful. Not because he is missing anything. Just because the right person has not found their way to him yet. Archie is 2 years old, 55 lbs, and currently in foster. He is soft, sweet, sensitive, and so ready for the part of his life where he is not the one left behind. If you have room for a lanky little gentleman with a loyal heart and crossed paws, Archie is waiting to meet you.

Sayde is a 2½-year-old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix weighing about 60 lbs. She is a bright, driven, and incredibly energetic companion ready for the right home. She came into rescue pregnant and gave birth to nine healthy puppies, proving to be an attentive and loving mom, and now it’s her turn to be the center of attention. Sayde absolutely loves to play fetch—be prepared, because she will happily wear your arm out—and she has a blast playing in water from a garden hose. She’s very affectionate, loves giving hugs, and would gladly sleep in bed with you if allowed, though she’s also perfectly content resting in an open crate or on a large dog bed when asked. True to her intelligent working-breed nature, she quickly learned how to use a dog door and thrives on mental and physical activity. Sayde will do best with an experienced owner who understands the needs of high-energy working breeds and can provide consistent structure, training, and daily exercise. She is not a beginner-friendly dog, but with the right guidance, she has the potential to excel in training, dog sports, or as a devoted companion. Due to her energy level and herding instincts, any children in the home should be over the age of 10 and able to interact appropriately. If you’re looking for a loyal, smart, and high-drive partner, Sayde could be the perfect fit. Sayde is currently undergoing treatments for heartworm disease. Until she has completed his treatments and is fully recovered, Sayde is available for adoption only in the Atlanta area; She must be able to come to Furkids' shelter for treatments. Sayde currently weighs about 60lbs., is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date 11/25/2023), and her adoption fee is $315. Sayde has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Story
Very sweet and patient dog. Loves walks, fetch and playing with kids. Very sweet with toddlers climbing on him also and playing with him. He is I’ll protect you and the kids. Usually never barks unless someone coming to door when I’m home alone with the kids and my husband is gone. He has barked lately when left alone in crate because he has been anxious since we moved to an rv a few weeks ago but normally if left in crate he doesn’t bark. Does fine left in house with no crate if food not left out. We are sad to rehome him but he isn’t happy in rv and is anxious being alone in rv and have tried everything. He is great in the house. I have a X-Large and large metal crate I would give you for free and bowls for food. Have two leashes and a harness for him. He has had health insurance and is up to date on shots and tick and flea meds and very healthy. 4 yrs old and has been nutured. The kids are very sad to rehome him but we want him to be happy. Eats Dry purina dog food.
