She is a typical Mal — active, alert, and incredibly smart — but she is also very sweet and affectionate once she connects with her people. Ruby came to the shelter after her family said they had too many dogs. She arrived with a male dog and her four puppies. The family chose to keep the male, sadly leaving Ruby behind to start over on her own. Despite everything she’s been through, Ruby remains loving, eager to interact, and ready for a fresh start. At 2 years old, Ruby is in the prime of her life. She would thrive with an active adopter who understands working-breed dogs and can give her the exercise, structure, and mental stimulation she enjoys. Manchas is a 2 1/2 year old purebred Belgian Malanois. He is a sweet and cuddly big guy who thinks he is still a baby. He is great with kids, cats, and others dogs! He is a very smart dog who has ALOT of energy. He has gone through 2 training programs and knows plenty of commands. Unfortunately our landlord has prohibited dogs of his breed and we want to make sure he goes to a loving home where he can have plenty of activity and care. This breed requires time and attention due to their very active nature.

A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Clyde is a sweet Belgian Malinois who, unfortunately, was recently hit by a car. As a result, he had his front left leg amputated and will be a Special Needs “Tripod” for the rest of his life. The good news is that nobody told Clyde this and, as far as he’s concerned, he will happily live out his life walking, running, jumping, playing, and wrestling just like all of the other dogs. He is smart, curious, and extremely affectionate with people and other dogs-he loves his “Snuggle Time”. Clyde is crate trained and will happily sleep through the night with no accidents. He knows some basic commands, but his new owner will need to continue his training. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs and would do best in a multi-dog household where he can socialize to his heart’s content. His ideal owner will need to be very cognizant of his overall joint health and work to ensure that his remaining front leg remains healthy for years to come. At this time, he has not been cat tested. Clyde currently weighs about 44lbs., is approximately 1 years old (est. birth date 11/07/2024), and his adoption fee is $315. Clyde has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
