Meet Tommy & Baby a bonded pair looking for their fresh start together. These two were part of a local rescue our team facilitated in Queens. Both are about 3 years young, good with other dogs, and would do best in an adult-only home for now. Because of their past, Tommy and Baby need a super special adopter. We believe they were previously abused and mostly lived outside, so they require a home with significant breed experience and rescue-dog savvy. They will need continued training, exposure, and structure as they settle into their new lives. Tommy is a handsome, confident boy, while Baby is more timid around people and needs time to warm up — but she blossoms with patience and understanding. Together, they bring out the best in each other, which is why we are committed to placing them as a bonded pair. Hi ! The pup is loving, intelligent, playful and perceptive. He likes his food. He gets good exercise with the other dog. He enjoys hanging around the yard picking up sticks but also enjoys the indoors. He loves snuggling with the other dog and myself. He is mostly housetrained but can have an occasional accident as he is still a puppy. He is loyal and follows me around. He likes to be useful, do things, obey commands etc. He is not abandoned but up for adoption. Thank you !

Meet Mama Rosa   Mama Rosa’s journey is one of incredible strength, devotion, and second chances.   She was rescued from Devore Shelter in California, where she not only faced an uncertain future—but also rose to the challenge of motherhood. Mama Rosa did an amazing job nursing and caring for her nine babies, keeping them safe, healthy, and thriving until rescue stepped in. Thanks to her dedication, every one of her puppies got the chance they deserved.   After being transported across the country to Brixies Rescue Inc., Mama Rosa has continued to show just how special she is.   Since arriving in rescue, she has made remarkable progress. She’s learned basic cues like “sit,” is actively working on disengaging when she notices strangers, and has shown herself to be very food motivated, making training and confidence-building both effective and rewarding.   Mama Rosa does well with children (with supervision) and is thoughtful and observant in the home. She is still working through slow, structured introductions with resident dogs, and we are committed to honoring her pace so she can feel secure and successful.   What Mama Rosa Needs Mama Rosa is looking for an experienced, breed-knowledgeable foster or adopter, or a home with someone willing to learn and actively work with trainers. Meet Solei! Solei is one of our sunshine pups and she’s ready to find a home that can keep up with her! Solei is a 3 month old pup believed to be a Pit Bull/Malinois mix. She came from a local accidental litter that Project Precious Rescue and another rescue stepped in to help vet and rehome. Like many pups with bully and shepherd roots, Solei is an active girl who loves to run, jump, and play. She will be looking for a home with athletic pitbull/shepherd or working dog experience. These are not ideal first-time puppies unless you have solid plans for training, socialization, structured exercise, and lots of focused bonding time (maybe even a fun job!). Solei has a slightly softer personality than her sister. She can be a bit more reserved in new situations and may watch from the sidelines before jumping in. Once she’s comfortable, she’s incredibly sweet and loves snuggles when she’s ready to wind down. She’s a sensitive girl who responds beautifully to praise and encouragement. She has done well with dogs of all shapes and sizes, especially playful pups who enjoy puppy antics. An active dog friend would likely be a great match for her. She may also do fine with a savvy cat, though she hasn’t met one yet.
