Story
Hi ! The pup is loving and rambunctious. He is independent, intelligent, playful and perceptive. He likes his food and is not very patient with it. He gets good exercise with the other dog. He has to be taken out every few hours. He enjoys hanging around the yard but also enjoys the great indoors. He loves snuggling with the other dog and myself but is also independent. He will be great with a family with kids and dogs. But he also needs a trainer as he is very intelligent and likes to do things, obey commands etc. Thank you !

Story
Kona Belgian Malinois (Female, 12–14 Months) Fostered in Columbus, NJ Rescued by Trina & Friends K9 Rescue This stunning 44-lb Malinois will be ready for adoption in a few weeks as she finishes healing from her spay. She spent 10 days in the Trenton municipal shelter before rescue stepped in to ensure safe placement. She is intelligent, high-energy, food-motivated, and deeply loyal once she bonds. Initially shy, she warms up beautifully with patience and structure. She does not resource guard food, toys, or people. If a ball is present she can become over-aroused and slightly nippy, which is actively being addressed through impulse-control training. She currently walks 2–3 miles daily, enjoys yard play, and receives consistent mental enrichment. She is crate training, learning basic obedience, and building household manners. She does not chew or destroy blankets, bedding, toys, or furniture. Best Fit: Experienced, breed-savvy adopter only Active lifestyle (daily exercise required) Continued positive-reinforcement training Structured home with clear boundaries Fenced yard preferred (5 ft+) Not suitable for first-time owners Not suitable for homes with young or non-dog-savvy children She would thrive in agility, dock diving, sport work, hiking, or an engaged companion home that understands working breeds. Preference given to NJ/PA adopters to allow foster support during transition. She has tremendous potential in the right hands. Only experienced adopters will be considered. If you believe you are the right fit, please complete an adoption application. Apply here https://www.trinafriendsk9rescue.org/new-page

Story
Rip a 4 yr old, Malinois/Belgian Shepherd mix. He is a big boy at 90lbs. Rip is very intelligent and eager to please. He is very food motivated. He knows many basic commands, including sit, touch, down, paw and is working on roll over. He is also crate trained. Rip enjoys going on long walks with staff and volunteers. Rip's walking ability has received glowing reviews, as our walkers have told us he is one of the most enjoyable dogs to walk. Rip enjoys human interaction, and will ask for attention and affection at any given opportunity. Like any good dog he loves a butt scratch, a belly rub and a head pat. As for other dogs, Rip is selective. He enjoys the company of a dominant female, who can doll out and receive some rough and rowdy play. As much as he loves kids of all ages, due to his size and general doofiness a home with children is not recommended. Rip is also not suitable for a home with cats. For more information on Rip Wheeler, call AWS at 860-354-1350 email animalwelfare.socty@snet.net or visit our website aws-shelter.org for a pre adopt application. Adoption fees for Dogs (8yrs and up) is $150 Adult Dogs is $400 and Puppies under a year is $500

Story
Kato is trained in over 20+ English commands. He is scent detection trained (live human scent & article detection). He loves training & outdoors. Kato would do best in a quiet home without a lot of foot traffic. He is silly, protective and a love bug once you gain his trust. Kato comes from the Big Roy lineage. He would do great in a dog sport home. He has super high toy and food drive. I have trained him in all foundational commands for sport and obedience. He loves swimming, the car window & golf balls At a young age, he was sent to a trainer who abused the e-collar on him. Since then, Kato has a deep fear of e-collars, e-scooters, and fireworks. He has a bite history and anxious tendencies following the trainer but no recent incident. Will speak more with qualified parties. I am rehoming because of life style changes that demand more of my time, taking away what I can provide for him. He is my best and greatest friend and deserves to live out his potential. He is my soul dog.

Story
Meet Tommy & Baby a bonded pair looking for their fresh start together. These two were part of a local rescue our team facilitated in Queens. Both are about 3 years young, good with other dogs, and would do best in an adult-only home for now. Because of their past, Tommy and Baby need a super special adopter. We believe they were previously abused and mostly lived outside, so they require a home with significant breed experience and rescue-dog savvy. They will need continued training, exposure, and structure as they settle into their new lives. Tommy is a handsome, confident boy, while Baby is more timid around people and needs time to warm up — but she blossoms with patience and understanding. Together, they bring out the best in each other, which is why we are committed to placing them as a bonded pair. If you are interested in meeting Tommy & Baby, please submit an adoption application directly on our website. Note: we will not process applications without proper breed and overall experience.
