Rescue Story * Horang waited a long time for a family at the Cheongju City Shelter, but no one adopted her. As her holding period had expired, she was at risk of euthanasia. Fortunately, Adogs rescued her just in time. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is a bit shy and feels uncomfortable with people at first. When she gets used to them, she welcomes them, and barks happily as if displaying her feeling of intimacy! * With Dogs: Growls at new dogs at first and expresses discomfort. Recently shows her reluctance to go to where other dogs gather. Feels uncomfortable when she has to share a living space and tries to avoid going there. Does not chase after other dogs nor attack them, though. Has recently shown persistent interest in a new friend, so we are focusing on training to address the issue. * With Cats: When encountering cats on a walk, she gets very excited and runs to chase them. Sometimes shows aggressiveness at them, so caution is needed. * Separation Anxiety: Currently lives at our center, so it's hard to know for sure. * Potty Training: Is 100% outdoor potty trained, even though she is staying alone in her separate kennel. * Walks: Loves walks, especially running or trotting ones! Sometimes gets excited and pulls on the leash hard during walks. Occasionally chases after a small dog or cat as running at them. Is currently learning one by one while getting walk training! * Car Sickness: Still being observed, but so far, doesn't seem to get car sick. * Bark: When seeing other dogs go out for a walk, she sometimes barks to express her desire to go out. * Like: Loves treats and walks! * Dislike: With a lot of other dogs, she gets very uncomfortable and may become stiff due to the discomfort.

Our veterinary partner estimates that Autumn is 1 year old at the time of intake in Sept 2023. Autumn is good with people and other dogs. Autumn is a young mother with 3 puppies, she did not have a good life on a chain and neglected. Autumn is a smart, spunky, happy girl who has shown herself to be incredibly loyal to her people. She still has a lot of puppy energy and will need an owner who understands her need to work and is willing to provide her with the physical and mental exercise she needs. Autumn would love a job! She is highly trainable and would excel at anything from agility to nose work. She would also like a doggie friend that can match her energy and play style. Autumn is potty trained and has never had an accident inside. She is good in her crate provided she is given proper exercise. She is also uncharacteristically sweet and snuggly for her breed. Bella came to the shelter just about a year ago at three years old only because her owner was terminally ill and can no longer care for her. Bella is nice and laid-back with people friendly loves to run likes to engage with the ball. She’s not particularly dog friendly, but she’s neither an aggressive dog who couldn’t walk by other dog you can walk her just fine, sometimes she plays her other dog she fence, but we don’t think she has been exposed to children very much. Bella is half German Shepherd and half pit and she’s about 50 pounds.

He is laid back pleasant, calm, friendly walks nicely on leash and enjoys being with people. He’s only here a week so we’re not yet sure how he is his children and although he hasn’t met another dog up close, he seems fine passing them and being close to them in the outdoor areas
