Story
Are you looking for the deepest canine devotion? A true partner? Every now and then we encounter a dog like Mabel Marie who is capable of forming a remarkably intense connection with her person. This girl is super smart and super connected to her person. Put those together and you have an incredible doggy partner! We believe Mabel Marie is a Malinois x German Shepherd mix, just turning 3 years old. She takes to training like a pro! She already walks beautifully on a leash (incredibly attentive to her handler!) and knows a few commands: sit, come, leave it, go to her kennel. She’s a dream for someone interested in obedience or other competitive pup sports. But Mabel Marie doesn’t need any job other than loving her family! She’s not hyper – just medium-energy. As long as she gets a bit of exercise each day she’s very happy. She would love to hang out on the couch, snuggle, and watch Netflix or lounge around in the yard. She also loves leash walks, car rides, and exploring. What Mabel Marie loves the most is hearing what a good girl she is. Your praise and positive feelings are the entire world to her. That’s what motivates her – even more than a tasty treat! She wants to be connected and in sync with you. She has lived with other dogs and kids, and enjoys playing with both! But a home without small animals is best for her. She’d love to be with a family again or be your one and only. Ideally she’d like someone who is home a lot. She’s not a big fan of extended periods of time in her crate. And frankly, she misses you! She gets her confidence and joy from being with her person. Are you ready for that perfect partner to share adventures and quiet times? Mabel Marie is ready to cuddle, go for walks, and love you with all her heart. Don’t miss out on this amazing pup! The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Follow along on our rescue journeys through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $42 surcharge.

Story
Looking for a serious, responsible, loving person to adopt this girl. She is a beautiful, loyal, lovey dog who is great in the home. She gets attached and loves her person. She needs a lot of exercise & attention. She is amazing in the home. She can stay alone in the home for a reasonable amount of time, she is crate trained, knows many commands, and is overall a smart & well mannered dog. She is a Belgian Malinois and a typical one, so those who are not familiar with this breed need to know all about this breed and know for sure that this is the breed for them. A new owner must be seriously prepared for the amount of exercise, training and attention this dog needs to be a great dog.

Story
We got Jet when he was just a little puppy. We wanted a companion for our other Malinois. Turns out, they are not the best pair for each other and Jet would do best in a single dog household. We also just had a baby that has been challenging to give Jet the attention and training he needs. Hes a very loyal dog and wants so badly get out annd play. He listens well with patience but needs some training. We are looking for an active household that will have the time to work with and be active with Jet daily.

Story
Casanova came to us from an overcrowded California shelter where he had been waiting over a month. He was a shelter staff favorite and they really advocated for him being a sweet guy so we pulled Casanova into our program. - 25lbs and approximately 4.5 months old - Possibly a Belgian Malinois mix. This breed is known to require regular training, exercise and structure so we are looking for a future home that is able to meet Casanova's needs in that regard. - Good with other dogs, no cats. Casanova is fostered with a cat but thinks it is fun to chase so a home with no cats would probably be best. - Potty training is coming along well but will need continued structure just as any puppy would - Smart boy who loves to play with other dogs! - Toy enthusiast! - Treat motivated! - Crate training is in progress but it can take him about 30 minutes or so to settle in his crate. After that, he sleeps through the night in his crate. But he will need some patience in the crate training process still. - Walks great on leash and has lots of handler engagement during the walk Casanova has had three rounds of puppy vaccines, rabies, bordatella, is microchipped, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee includes his neuter surgery later this year at our vet in Milwaukie, Oregon. Neutering him later will give him time to grow and help him be healthier orthopedically and behaviorally. $150 adoption fee Fostered in Oregon City, Oregon APPLY TO ADOPT CASANOVA ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG

Story
Nala is an incredibly sweet, bundle of love. She is easy going and happiest when she’s around humans. All she wants is to be loved on - belly rubs are  her all time favorite. Nala loves to bury her toys outside, or hide them around the house if that’s an option. She also enjoys sunbathing and tracking squirrels in the backyard. We suspect humans may not have always been great to her. She is not aggressive AT ALL but doesn’t like being touched around the neck (hates a slip lead) She also will pee a little when scared or if she thinks she’s in trouble. Nala does great in her crate at night and knows when to “go to bed”. We think she may do best as an only dog - no aggression toward our dogs except that minor resource guarding but she also has zero interest in playing with them. She just wants all the human attention all the time. We are working on her leash skills but she loves, loves walks. Story
Dozer is a little less than a year old and has a lot of energy and with lots of exercise and possibly a job to do he would be a great addition to someone's family. We don't have the time to give him the amount of exercise or the work load he would love. he's such a friendly and smart dog very trainable with the right owner . He deserves a way of life we can't give him
