This is Jade, an nine-month-old Malinois mix (our best guess!) who somehow managed to get all the ears. Seriously, they're magnificent. Pair those iconic satellite dishes with her striking black mask, athletic little frame, and constantly happy expression, and you've got one ridiculously adorable girl. At just under 50 pounds, she's a petite powerhouse with enough personality to fill the whole house. Jade is the type of dog who wakes up every morning thinking, "Okay...what adventure are we going on today?" If there's a toy nearby, she's already halfway through convincing you it's time for tug. If there's a ball, she's ready. If there's a stick? Even better. She lives for playtime and has never met a toy she didn't think deserved her full attention. Zeus Your Right-Hand Man has been studying full-time for the role of someone’s best friend, and his foster has given him a pretty impressive education. Sit, down, shake, stay, wait politely for dinner- this handsome boy comes with quite a résumé. His favorite qualification, though, is the way he loves his person. Once you’re in his circle, you have a devoted companion who pays attention, wants to be close, and thinks doing things together is a very good use of the day. His breed and birthday are guesses, but his foster’s affection for him is well established. This boy is adored at home, where he has wonderful house manners and a growing collection of skills. He’s still young, with plenty to learn, and he’s already shown how much he can accomplish with someone who enjoys his drive and knows how to harness it. His foster has put time and love into helping him become a lovely daily companion. Zeus goes on regular walks, has great leash skills, and enjoys coming along in the car. A little breeze through his fur with the windows down is especially appreciated. Between his good manners and enthusiasm for time together, he makes a strong case for including the dog in your plans. With new people, Zeus likes a little time to get acquainted. Give him a comfortable introduction and the chance to approach at his own pace, and let the relationship grow from there. His foster knows a deeply affectionate, attentive boy who forms a strong connection with his person. He has also done well around visiting family, including children as young as seven. A family who appreciates thoughtful introductions, loves the devotion of a shepherd and can let him settle in would be a wonderful fit for forever. Zeus currently shares his foster home with an older husky, so he has experience living alongside another dog. His play is enthusiastic, physical, and occasionally in need of a halftime whistle. He would be happy having his people to himself, and a home with another dog could also be considered with a thoughtful match. A confident, social female who enjoys an active playmate may be a good fit, with people who supervise the fun and help Zeus practice taking breaks. He’s still learning that a playmate pausing for a breath does not necessarily mean round two is in order. An active home in a suburban or country setting would suit him well, with regular walks, room for play, and opportunities to use that clever brain. Someone who enjoys training could have a lot of fun with Zeus. He’s receptive, connected to his handler, and has already built a wonderful foundation. Keep teaching him, make it rewarding, and give him something to feel proud of. There’s something especially sweet about a young dog who has so much to offer and so much growing still ahead of him.
