Story
Sam aka Samantha is a loyal, energetic, protective fur missile. While she does wells with cats I truly believe she’d be best suited as an only pet. She prefers females and is 2.5 yrs old. She does well with older teens as I have a 16 and 18 yr old. She needs a job and someone experienced with the breed, honestly if she was given proper training I feel she would be an amazing service animal. Unfortunately, I do not have the time, funds, to do so as well as she does not get along with our pittie Ozzy, she does get along with our Golden Seth but she is your typical Alpha female. Her rehoming fee is small but my biggest concern is a good home despite she cannot stay with us any longer. She’s been dealt a crappy hand by the person who was supposed to be her owner. It’s unfair for her.

Story
Looking for the perfect adventure buddy with some of the cutest radar ears you have ever seen? Our sweet Toby has completed his professional training and is ready to go on all of the adventures with his forever family! Toby is a 4-year-old, 52 lb shepherd mix. He is a super smart guy and loves affection from his people. Toby enjoys meeting new people and has lived with children in the past. Older children living in his forever home are recommended at this time to give him a better chance of success in his new home, but he has been around smaller children and is good with them. Toby gets along with dogs but can be dog selective. He tends to be more dominant in his play with other dogs, so very submissive dogs are not recommended for him to live with. Cats are unknown.  An active family is recommended for Toby to give him the enrichment and exercise he needs to be his best self. Throughout his professional training with Gypsy K9 Solutions he has learned so much, so will be the perfect dog to take hiking and out and about with amazing manners. He came to Gypsy K9 with some guarding behaviors but has learned the release command and has been doing amazing! An owner who is a strong pack leader and will continue the training that he has learned will set him up for the most success in his new home.  Toby is house and crate trained, he can also be trusted outside of the crate when home alone. He is neutered up to date on vaccines and preventatives, as well as a heartworm survivor, now negative! Toby is hanging out with our friends at Gypsy K9 Solutions in Gettysburg, PA! Apply today! Once approved you can meet this awesome guy, and he can show off all his cool new skills he has learned.  New Oxford PA 17350; LIC # 9736 We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.  Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. Story
Knox is a 1.5 year old German Shepherd. He is a very sweet boy, however he is very very hyper. He needs somewhere he can go and run around in a large yard. He comes from working lines, and unfortunately I do not have the means to provide for his needs (space, time). I picked him up from a friend hoping that I would be able to train him myself, but unfortunately he is just too hyper for me to be able to. He has not shown any aggression towards people, but he doesn’t seem to do well with other dogs. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Story
Meet Mystery, a timid but incredibly sweet girl who’s slowly coming out of her shell. Mystery was surrendered to us with her housemate, Sally, and feels more confident when Sally is by her side. The two of them can be adopted as a pair, but Mystery has also been making great strides in learning to be independent. She would do best in a home with a secure fenced yard where she can explore at her own pace and feel safe. With a little patience and love, Mystery will flourish into the loyal companion we know she is. If you`re looking for a gentle, loving soul (or two!) to complete your family, Mystery is waiting to meet you.Mystery currently weighs 76 pounds and is scheduled to be spayed. If you are interested in meeting Mystery, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12:30p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12:30p & 2p-6:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p.
