Ty is a purebred Belgian melon Wah puppy, who came to us from a small shelter in the Houston area. He has all his three rounds of puppy vaccinations and has been neutered and micro chipped. He is heartworm negative and is on heartworm prevention. He weighs around 60 pounds and is 8 1/2 to 9 months old. He is extremely friendly and loves other dogs. His current foster family has one cat who he doesn’t seem reactive with, but would need to be more thoroughly tested with cats. he is extremely friendly with all people, but is very active as a young malinois and could knock over small children. He definitely needs an experienced handler and will need basic obedience training. He is crate trained. Please contact savapetwac@yahoo.com for an application. Meet Lucy Lucy is a 1.5-2 year old Belgian Malinois. She came to us from an area high kill shelter and was on death row. Once we met her we fell in love with this gorgeous sweet girl and took her into our rescue group. She is fully vetted, microchipped, and spayed. Lucy is an amazing, sweet girl with moderate energy/drive. She will do best with an owner who has experience with Malinois and GSDs and in positive dog training. She is crate and potty trained. You must be approved to adopt through our group before meeting any of our adoptable dogs. Please note that this is a volunteer based group and NOT a SHELTER. Most of our dogs are in foster homes. There may be delays in application processing answering emails etc. because we all have demanding full time jobs, families, and foster dogs/puppies to care for. please email savapetwac@yahoo.com for an application. And yes, I mean everyone! I love scratches, kisses and cuddles. I do know many basic commands, like sit, down and come. I kennel/crate well, especially if you give me an extra scoop of food to munch on.  Don't worry, I am watching my figure and won't get out of shape. I walk pretty well, though sometimes I forget and try to lead my group on the walk. I then remember to come back.  I get along fantastic with my fellow house pups and play with them, but it took a little bit to settle in with them. I like slow introductions. I can and will jump a fence,  so I shouldn't just be out unattended, but do fine if you verbally remind me. Our application does require references, a home inspection and a $5 donation.  Or please contact us here for further info: abmr.rescue@gmail.com.  Adoption application: https://malinoisrescue.org/forms/form?formid=6581Aynsley is a 1 1/2 year old spayed female.  She has just finished her job being an awesome mom to 10 puppies.  Aynsley was a stray in Austin that arrived at the shelter heavily pregnant.  Aynsley is a super sweet girl that would love a home with another playful dog in the house.  She loves everyone that I have introduced her to now.  She has not been introduced to kids because she was very protective of the puppies for the 1st 6 weeks.  I havent seen any prey drive from her.  She will alert to strange noises or the neighbors in their driveway.  She is a people pleaser and easily corrects with a verbal correction.  She walks well on a leash.  She is a bit of a bull in a china shop when she gets to playing.  She hasn't had any accidents in the house when she comes in to play and interact with the resident dogs.  She is crated when riding in the car.  She will settle down quickly in the crate and doesn't really vocalize her displeasure nor does she try to escape.  I think she will pick up crate training in the house quickly with some more positive interactions.  She is a counter surfer.  This girl is a gem!!!
