Story

Lola is a great dog. She is smart, gentle and well mannered. She is house broken and leash trained. She is uncomfortable with people messing with her paws and when she gets stressed she will nose or nip to let you know. She has never bitten anyone but we have little kids and can't take the risk that that nip might turn in to a bite before she learns better ways to communicate. We think she can be taught to overcome this but we can't afford to teach her that with our little kids running around. We are sad for this and so are our kids, so we want to find her a good home with either older kids who understand the boundaries she needs or a home with no kids looking for a good companion.

Lilo came to us as a puppy, I adopted since she was 2 months old. She is good with her owner and people she is use to, very protective of her family, and but not aggressive. She is very dominant, so is not very good with other dogs, she always act in a dominant way when in the dog park. She enjoys daily walks and is good on a leash. Very serene dog that doesn't requires a lot of attention, she likes to be pet, but does not requires it. She good be a great guarding dog and company for seniors and adults.

We got her when she was 1 month old in 2019, now she is 5 years old I believe. We also have a 10 year old golden retriever and recently we just had a baby. Chopper is an indoor dog, she loves crashing on the sofa but when she plays, she plays hard. We really dont want to rehome Chopper because she's been living with us for the past 5 years but she keep making loud noise, bark instantly when there's sounds in the front yard that wake our baby up and crying hard. Chopper's a good girl but she is not gentle enough to hang out our baby because she's big, heavy and very active unlike the golden retriever, very soft, calm and mellow. I dont know what else to say, it breaks our hearts but we have to rehome Chopper.

QUALITIES: Enthusiastic, friendly, playful, affectionate NEEDS WORK: Energetic, walking, escaping Baby is a young lady, estimated between 1-2 years old. She was found as a stray, wandering in a Cypress neighborhood. Her foster mom could not turn a blind eye to this pretty girl who needed help. Baby gets along really well with the foster's 2 dogs in the house, especially her big hound dog. They have turned the family room into a WWE sports arena. Foster's son's dog, a Husky, visits often and Baby plays well with him too. She would do really well as a companion dog as she has energy to burn at this age. Once playtime is over, Baby settles down quietly to nap or rest. Baby is gentle and well mannered with children. She walks well and is learning about house manners from her housemates. She has escaped from her trial home but did not go far and foster is working on her front door training. Baby is a beautiful, healthy dog, HW negative and spayed. Est DOB: 1/8/22, GSD mix, male, currently 75 lbs +, neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccinations, heart-worm negative and microchipped Meet Haribo! (Hari for short) This incredibly handsome boy was born into the rescue on Jan. 8, 2022. He is a happy, goofy boy with a lot of personality. Haribo and his sister Honor were both born with a congenital issue called Megaesophogus. Basically his esophagus is too large to move food adequately from his mouth to his stomach so he just eats differently that others. When it’s feeding time, Hari sits in a special chair called a Bailey chair. Haribo is a clever boy who knows how to get into his chair for feeding times all on his own. He does very well eating and sitting in the chair for 20 minutes afterwards. He eats twice a day and has been eating Royal Canin. Like his sister Honor, his Megaesophogus is easily managed with an inexpensive drug called Sildenafil. He gets 50 mg a day. (25 mg in the a.m. and p.m.) Haribo is great on a leash, loves to play with his sister and likes to play fetch. He loves getting attention and will nuzzle your hands to get a nice petting. He likes walks around the lakes in his foster family’s neighborhood and is interested in the ducks and squirrels but doesn’t try to chase. He is in a foster home with other dogs and school aged children that he does well with. Haribo is in a foster home with other dogs and school aged children that he does well with.
