She was found as a stray, wandering in a Cypress neighborhood. Her foster mom could not turn a blind eye to this pretty girl who needed help. Baby gets along really well with the foster's 2 dogs in the house, especially her big hound dog. They have turned the family room into a WWE sports arena. Foster's son's dog, a Husky, visits often and Baby plays well with him too. She would do really well as a companion dog as she has energy to burn at this age. Once playtime is over, Baby settles down quietly to nap or rest. Baby is gentle and well mannered with children. She walks well and is learning about house manners from her housemates. She has escaped from her trial home but did not go far and foster is working on her front door training. Baby is a beautiful, healthy dog, HW negative and spayed. Poppy is a young Malinois/German Shepherd mix who was abandoned out in the country near a home I was building. Neighbors had been feeding her and were about to take her to the shelter, so I stepped in to give her a safe place. She’s about a year old, very sweet, goofy, loving, and smart. She’s athletic, eager to please, and has done great in a home environment. I already have several permanent dogs and regularly foster a few each year, so my goal from the beginning was to get Poppy into a rescue that could place her with the right family. She’s been friendly with my dogs, but one of my small dogs is reactive, and I need to put his safety first. Poppy deserves a home where she can bond, learn, and thrive. I will cover her spay, vaccinations, and any needed vetting, and I’m able to foster her until she’s adopted.

Est DOB: 1/8/22, GSD mix, male, currently 75 lbs +, neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccinations, heart-worm negative and microchipped Meet Haribo! (Hari for short) This incredibly handsome boy was born into the rescue on Jan. 8, 2022. He is a happy, goofy boy with a lot of personality. Haribo and his sister Honor were both born with a congenital issue called Megaesophogus. Basically his esophagus is too large to move food adequately from his mouth to his stomach so he just eats differently that others. When it’s feeding time, Hari sits in a special chair called a Bailey chair. Haribo is a clever boy who knows how to get into his chair for feeding times all on his own. He does very well eating and sitting in the chair for 20 minutes afterwards. He eats twice a day and has been eating Royal Canin. Like his sister Honor, his Megaesophogus is easily managed with an inexpensive drug called Sildenafil. He gets 50 mg a day. (25 mg in the a.m. and p.m.) Haribo is great on a leash, loves to play with his sister and likes to play fetch. He loves getting attention and will nuzzle your hands to get a nice petting. He likes walks around the lakes in his foster family’s neighborhood and is interested in the ducks and squirrels but doesn’t try to chase. He is in a foster home with other dogs and school aged children that he does well with. Haribo is in a foster home with other dogs and school aged children that he does well with.
