Pluto loves fetch, being touched, and ice cubes - not necessarily in that order. He is a high-energy older pup who likes toys and wrestling. He is affectionate and likes sitting on a lap and being petted. He weighs 57 pounds and plans to keep growing. He is protective of his home. He likes to lead while on a leash. He is house trained and used to being crated up to eight hours a day and freely roaming the house the rest of the time. He stands at the door when he needs to go out. He is obedient and knows the sit, stay, and fetch commands. He lived with another dog and was friendly and submissive. He has no experience with children. He was given up because of his owner's health. He only got into trouble for chewing and jumping. Please offer playful, excitable, easygoing, lovable Pluto the home and family he needs. She is eager to please and very smart and active. She has done very well and is very playful with other pups she has been with. She also is very playful with her brother Dutch who was turned in with her as well. She is very intelligent and already knows sit, shake and down. We were told she was part Belgian Shepherd and would be best in a home with someone who would continue training and working with her. And yes, I mean everyone! I love scratches, kisses and cuddles. I do know many basic commands, like sit, down and come. I kennel/crate well, especially if you give me an extra scoop of food to munch on.  Don't worry, I am watching my figure and won't get out of shape. I walk pretty well, though sometimes I forget and try to lead my group on the walk. I then remember to come back.  I get along fantastic with my fellow house pups and play with them, but it took a little bit to settle in with them. I like slow introductions. I can and will jump a fence,  so I shouldn't just be out unattended, but do fine if you verbally remind me. Our application does require references, a home inspection and a $5 donation.  Or please contact us here for further info: abmr.rescue@gmail.com.  Adoption application: https://malinoisrescue.org/forms/form?formid=6581Aynsley is a 1 1/2 year old spayed female.  She has just finished her job being an awesome mom to 10 puppies.  Aynsley was a stray in Austin that arrived at the shelter heavily pregnant.  Aynsley is a super sweet girl that would love a home with another playful dog in the house.  She loves everyone that I have introduced her to now.  She has not been introduced to kids because she was very protective of the puppies for the 1st 6 weeks.  I havent seen any prey drive from her.  She will alert to strange noises or the neighbors in their driveway.  She is a people pleaser and easily corrects with a verbal correction.  She walks well on a leash.  She is a bit of a bull in a china shop when she gets to playing.  She hasn't had any accidents in the house when she comes in to play and interact with the resident dogs.  She is crated when riding in the car.  She will settle down quickly in the crate and doesn't really vocalize her displeasure nor does she try to escape.  I think she will pick up crate training in the house quickly with some more positive interactions.  She is a counter surfer.  This girl is a gem!!! Est DOB: 1/8/22, GSD mix, male, currently 75 lbs +, neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccinations, heart-worm negative and microchippedMeet Haribo!  (Hari for short) This incredibly handsome boy was born into the rescue on Jan. 8, 2022.   He is a happy, goofy boy with a lot of personality.  Haribo and his sister Honor were both born with a congenital issue called Megaesophogus.  Basically his esophagus is too large to move food adequately from his mouth to his stomach so he just eats differently that others.     When it’s feeding time, Hari sits in a special chair called a Bailey chair.  Haribo is a clever boy who knows how to get into his chair for feeding times all on his own.   He does very well eating and sitting in the chair for 20 minutes afterwards.   He eats twice a day and has been eating Royal Canin.   Like his sister Honor,  his Megaesophogus is easily managed with an inexpensive drug called Sildenafil.  He gets 50 mg a day. (25 mg in the a.m. and p.m.)   Haribo is great on a leash, loves to play with his sister and likes to play fetch.  He loves getting attention and will nuzzle your hands to get a nice petting.  He likes walks around the lakes in his foster family’s neighborhood and is interested in the ducks and squirrels but doesn’t try to chase.  He is in a foster home with other dogs and school aged children that he does well with. Haribo is in a foster home with other dogs and school aged children that he does well with.  Please consider making this handsome boy a member of your family.
