Fanny's story is one of resilience, healing, and love. She was picked up as a stray with a severe injury to the skin on her back and was understandably scared, underweight, and unsure of the world around her. Thanks to a dedicated medical foster and lots of love, Fanny has made a remarkable recovery. Today, she is healthy, happy, and thriving, proving every day just how special she is. ❤️
Emerging from that frightened and injured girl is a beautiful, gentle, and affectionate Malinois who simply loves being with her people. Fanny forms strong bonds with those she trusts and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal dog who enjoys attention, affection, and companionship. She truly wants to be wherever her favorite humans are.
At her foster home, Fanny has shown herself to be an exceptional house guest. She is crate trained, potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is learning her basic commands. She doesn't chew on household items, isn't a counter surfer, and has excellent manners around the house.
Fanny may be a little reserved when meeting new people, but once she gets comfortable, her sweet personality shines through. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, including little dogs, and enjoys having canine friends around. Because of her gentle nature, she would likely do very well in a family with respectful children and other pets.
One unexpected perk from her recovery journey is that numerous vet visits have made her a calm traveler. Car rides don't seem to bother her, and she handles them with ease. 🚗
When it's time to have fun, Fanny loves toys, playing fetch, and spending quality time with her family. Need some extra motivation during training? Food is the key to her heart! Mealtime is one of her favorite parts of the day, and her food motivation makes continued training a breeze.
While she has enough Malinois energy to enjoy walks, playtime, and an active lifestyle, Fanny is not "go-go-go" all the time. She is the perfect balance of active and relaxed, making her equally happy chasing a ball in the yard or cuddling up near her favorite person after a long day.
Her foster family describes her as an overall great dog and the type of companion who fits into almost any home. Whether you're looking for a loyal family dog, a walking partner, or a sweet companion who simply wants to be by your side, Fanny checks all the boxes.

Before an adoption is finalized, adopters will have the opportunity to meet the dog virtually through a video call. Our goal is to thoughtfully match each dog with a family that best meets their needs, helping set everyone up for a successful, lifelong placement. ❤️
