Super sweet, trained in cage, house broken, loves to love. Can get aggressive over food. Did not get along with my older dog which is why we are having to rehome. Tipper absolutely loves to cuddle and will steal you spot in bed if you let him.

Meet handsome Farley! He ended up at the shelter as a lost boy on 2/23, and no one has come to reclaim him. We're surprised no one is missing Farley, he seems to be well taken care of and his coat is clean and beautiful. Farley is now hoping his new forever family is out there and will welcome him home any day now. The volunteers describe Farley as friendly, treat-motivated, and energetic. For being a senior, Farley sure doesn't act like it; he has lots of pep left in his step! Farley is approximately 8 years old, and he weighs 74 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Farley in run 87; his ID # is 653872. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Story
Say hello to the beautiful gal we are calling Ms. Shep. This name was lovingly given to her by a very devoted group of people who worked really, really hard to get her to safety. You see Ms. Shep has a mind of her own about where she wants to stay. She is said to be like a kangaroo in the fact that she jumps fences and if the fence was too high she would go under it. Maybe she was just lost and trying to find her way home. Nobody will ever know. So Ms. Shep will need a home with an owner to be dedicated to her and her safety and will walk her on a leash at any time she needs to be outside. She will need some training but she is extremely sweet and is said to be good with all people or pets that she came into contact with. Ms. Shep does sit when told and is great on leash. She is about 1.5 years old and weighs just 55 pounds. She was caught in a trap at Kennesaw Mountain and brought to the shelter on 04/05. Ms. Shep is current on vaccines, tested negative for heart worms and spayed; she will be micro-chipped upon adoption. She is waiting for her special person in run 28 and her ID# is 655713.
