Story
Meet Amber Leah – Loyal, Smart & Ready for Home Amber Leah is a 2–3-year-old German Shepherd with a heart full of love and resilience. She’s 56 lbs, gaining strength every day, and showing her playful, loyal spirit. Amber is house-trained, crate-comfortable, and enjoys toys, bones, and staying close to her people. She already knows how to sit, stay, and shake, down, wait and she’s eager to keep learning. She loves quiet time on the couch just as much as playtime in the yard. She has Pancreatic Enzyme Insufficiency (PEI), a common GSD condition that simply requires an enzyme with each meal—an easy routine that helps her thrive. Amber would do best as the only pet, though with slow introductions she can live with another dog. She’s still practicing leash manners and learning to relax around other dogs. Her ideal home is probably a calmer suburban setting with a privacy fence, but with the right person and structure she can thrive anywhere. Amber Leah is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find her forever family. If you’ve ever loved a German Shepherd, you know how deep that bond can be—Amber is ready to share it with you. Apply to adopt Amber Leah today.  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          March 7, 2026, 7:49 pm

Story
Piper ~~ Spayed Female, German Shepherd, Tan and Black, DOB: 7/9/2014, 84 pounds 7/23/2026: SUMMERTIME ADOPTION SPECIAL. All adoptable pets, over one year old, have a reduced adoption rate of $75. Does not include puppies and kittens. This includes one month of heartworm, flea, tick, intestinal parasite prevention to go home. If you have been thinking about adoption, consider one of Crabapple Knoll’s available pets to enrich your life and bring companionship and love to your home. Are you looking for a truly wonderful senior pet to shower all your love and attention on? Look no further! Piper is eligible for our Seniors for Seniors Program ~~ $0 adoption fee and we offer her new owner (must be a senior citizen also) a 20% discount off future vet services and any medications or food for the remainder of Piper’s life. What a great way to add a loving companion to your life and improve the quality of Piper's (and your) life tenfold. Piper is a very, very sweet, loving, social and gentle girl. She walks well on the leash and does not pull or jump up. She is food and treat motivated and is quite the “smarty-pants.” She’s on a weight loss journey and continues to slowly shed weight to take stress off her joints. She takes medication as well as a supplement to aid mobility. Piper’s up to date on vet services, is microchipped and has a ProHeart Injection (for 1 year of continuous heartworm prevention) and a Bravecto Quantum Injection (for 1 year of continuous flea-tick prevention). Piper is ready to find a forever home of her very own. Her adoption fee is $75 until Labor Day. Things to know about Piper: she has a very gentle nature, is housebroken, loves to lounge and would make the perfect movie-marathon buddy. She will enjoy a calm, loving home for her golden years. She’d love her own fenced backyard to frolic and play in. Piper may do best as an only pet because she prefers to have her family all to herself. If you are interested in meeting Piper to see if she is a good match for you, visit her at Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic. 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Weekdays 630AM to 7PM. Saturday and Sunday 8AM to 4PM. We are closed on all major holidays. Please visit at least two hours prior to closing. Appointments are not necessary to meet any of our adoptable strays. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.
