Story

Candi is a fun loving, playful, active Shepherd mix, who is fully vetted, HW neg and microchipped. Though she does get along with most dogs, she would probably do best in a home where she is the only fur baby, receiving all the attention. Candi is house broken, but as far as being crated...she prefers to not be confined, so we don't currently crate her. Candi loves to go for walks, though she is very strong and wants to lead! She needs a strong hand and leash training. She's a smart girl, and has learned to open the back door at her foster home. If there is another dog in the home, Candi needs to be fed separately, as she will protect and scuffle over her meal! She hates being alone, so another easy going dog or a family who is home most of the time, would be ideal for Candi. All children in the home must be at least 5 years of age. We appreciate your understanding of these policies. Meet Wilson! Breed- German Shepard mix Gender- male Estimated Age-11-12 weeks Weight-15 pounds Spayed / Neutered- not yet Vaccination status- 2 rounds of shots; dewormed; will get third round next Wednesday (4/24) Good with kids- yes…loves kids, gentle and playful Good with other pets- yes…loves other dogs, loves to wrestle Exercise needs- he will be a large dog who needs daily exercise. He also would do best with a family that works from home. He likes to be WITH his people. What’s your favorite thing about your foster? Wilson is just so grateful. He doesn’t whine or misbehave. You can tell he is just so grateful to have love and his needs met. Such a great dog! He needs his person to be attached too. He loves dogs and people but he loves “his person” the most. Wilson loves to go outside to go potty because he loves to run back in the doggy door for his treat. Sometimes he likes to be sneaky and will run out the dog door and directly back in to try and score an extra treat. Smart boy ? Fun Fact: we call him “Baby Dino” ? because he makes the cutest little dinosaur sound when he wakes up. Like all puppies, Wilson needs an adopter who is willing to train and work with him to help him be the best dog he can be.
