Candi is a fun loving, playful, active Shepherd mix, who is fully vetted, HW neg and microchipped. Though she does get along with most dogs, she would probably do best in a home where she is the only fur baby, receiving all the attention. Candi is house broken, but as far as being crated...she prefers to not be confined, so we don't currently crate her. Candi loves to go for walks, though she is very strong and wants to lead! She needs a strong hand and leash training. She's a smart girl, and has learned to open the back door at her foster home. If there is another dog in the home, Candi needs to be fed separately, as she will protect and scuffle over her meal! She hates being alone, so another easy going dog or a family who is home most of the time, would be ideal for Candi. Hi, my name is D'Artagnan. I am one timid yet sweet boy who is still learning the ropes of being a dog. Given my age, I have a couple of things I would like to work on before hitting adulthood. So far I have on my golden star list is that I do well on my walks, getting acquainted with a harness and leash along with easing in during social interactions with both dogs and people. I could see myself having an older brother or sister show me the ways of being a house dog. If not, I think a single person or a small family can work out too--just make sure to have plenty of treats when introducing people to me. Before you know it, I will be laying down begging for belly rubs for you in no time!I am microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. In addition, I receive monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. My adoption fee is FREE due to a very generous donor sponsoring my fee! Please feel free to visit me anytime during the shelter's hours Monday through Friday 11am-5pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm.

Cooper is approximately 3 years old. He weighs 65 pounds. I found him after he had been hit by a car a year ago. His owners surrendered him, so I took him. I live in an apartment, and he has to stay in the kennel all day and it makes him rambunctious. He needs a yard where he can run and play and someone to spend quality time with him. He is incredibly intelligent, but he is too much for me to handle. I love Cooper very much and wish I could keep him, but he needs more than I can give him.
