Story
Come meet me and hundreds of adoptable pets at Cincinnati's mega adoption event, My Furry Valentine! Saturday, February 21st and Sunday February 22nd at Spooky Nook Sports! Meet Joy! Joy is a 6-year-old, 25lb Mini Bernedoodle. Joy is a sweet, gentle soul with an independent streak and a heart full of love for her people. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she happily leans in for belly rubs, attention, and playtime. She’s the kind of dog who will quietly sit at your feet just to be close. Joy is housebroken, crate trained, and knows her basic obedience skills. She walks nicely on leash, loves treats, and enjoys fun activities like fetch. She does great at the vet and is consistently described as incredibly sweet and well-mannered by everyone she meets. In social settings, Joy tends to be more introverted. She prefers calm, slow introductions with other dogs and does best with space and the ability to take breaks. She communicates appropriately and is gaining confidence, but would thrive with patient guidance and a relaxed environment. Joy would do best in a home without cats. Her ideal home would include a fenced yard where she can explore and relax at her own pace. She thrives in a quieter environment with a predictable routine and people who understand that some dogs simply prefer quality time over chaos. Joy also experiences occasional seasonal allergies that are easily managed with medication. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will bond closely and bring a calm, loving presence to your home, Joy might be your perfect match. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Story
Come meet me and hundreds of adoptable pets at Cincinnati's mega adoption event, My Furry Valentine! Saturday, February 21st and Sunday February 22nd at Spooky Nook Sports! Meet Spot! Spot is an 11-month-old, 17-pound Bernedoodle (though he takes on more of the poodle look and personality!). Spot is learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and cared for. He got his name because he has a very obvious spot on the side of his body that makes him extra special. His superpowers include his gentle nature, his ability to stay very still and cooperative during grooming and nail trims, and his strong bond with other dogs. During baths, he may try to get out of the water, but he does not yell or bark and does well when reassured and comforted. He is still unsure about new situations, lots of people, and having a leash around his neck. Often, he will appear very shaky, but once he realizes he is safe, he will calm down. It will take him a while to decompress in his new home, but please give him the grace that he deserves. Once he feels safe, his personality will shine. When he first arrived, he did not understand the leash and was very reactive, but after a few days, he began to learn that it isn’t scary or harmful. He recently learned to go up and down the stairs on his own for the first time; this was huge progress! He loves having a person of his own. It takes a few days for Spot to warm up, but once he chooses his person, his confidence grows significantly. He also finds great comfort in other dogs and does best when he is not alone. In terms of house training, we are working on it! He does bark in his crate when he needs to go out. And now that he can go up and down the stairs independently, he is more willing to go outside to go potty. We are working with him and have full confidence that he will be potty trained soon. Spot does best when crated with another dog for comfort, as he experiences stress when crated alone. His first night alone, he barked throughout the night, but when placed in a crate with another dog, he settled and slept calmly. He continues to adjust to routines in foster care, though now he is crated by himself and does much better. Some of his favorite things are other dogs, cozy sweaters, gentle reassurance, and toys that crinkle or squeak. He is just learning how to play and is beginning to show interest in chasing balls. He has shown no aggression and is the sweetest, though anxious, soul. If you’re looking for a young dog who thrives with canine companionship and needs a patient, understanding home to help him continue building confidence, he might be your perfect match! Spot could be the perfect addition to your family. Spot is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. His adoption fee is $400.00. Story
DESPITE WHAT THE BANNER ON THIS PROFILE SAYS, EDEN DOES NOT LEGALLY NEED TO BE SPAYED WITHIN 30 DAYS. Caring for an unspayed dog is very easy. She has 1 heat cycle that last 1-2 weeks every 6-8 months. She has worn dog diapers during this time to keep everything clean. Hi my name is Eden. I am very loving and sweet. I am gentle with babies and children. I get along with cats. I love my walks and I am very protective of those I love. I have medium to low energy. I love Raw Hides, running around the back yard, going for walks and snuggling with my humans. I know how to sit and shake. I am potty trained.

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 💙🌊 Meet Glacier — Your Loyal Adventure Buddy with a Heart of Gold 🌊💙 (11 Months • 50 lbs • Male • Professional Best Friend) Some dogs are fun. Some dogs are sweet. And then there’s Glacier — the kind of dog who makes you stop and think, “How has he been waiting this long?” At just 11 months old and 50 pounds, Glacier is that magical in-between size: big enough for real adventures, small enough to fit perfectly into your life (and your lap… he tries). He’s playful without being wild, affectionate without being clingy, and calm enough to settle in for end-of-day snuggles like a total pro. 🐾 Glacier’s Greatest Hits: • Fantastic with other dogs — friendly, respectful, and social • Walks beautifully on or off leash, always checking in and staying close to his person • Loves the water — rivers, splashes, wading like a happy little otter • Playful during the day, snuggly and chill at night (the best combo) • Deeply affectionate — the kind that leans into you like you’re his safe place His favorite walks at the ranch? Heading down to the river, where he can explore, splash, and soak up life at his own peaceful pace. Glacier doesn’t need chaos to be happy — he just wants his person, a little adventure, and a lot of love. What really tugs at the heartstrings is that Glacier has spent far too much of his puppyhood in rescue. While he’s stayed gentle, trusting, and joyful, it’s time he finally gets to know what it means to belong — a couch that’s his, people who are his, and a life that’s more than just waiting. He would be an absolute dream for an outdoorsy person or family — someone who loves walks, nature, water, and coming home to a dog who’s equally excited to cuddle up and call it a day. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who will walk beside you, splash beside you, and snuggle beside you — always staying close… 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — Glacier is more than ready to be someone’s forever. 🐾💙

Story
Come meet me and hundreds of adoptable pets at Cincinnati's mega adoption event, My Furry Valentine! Saturday, February 21st and Sunday February 22nd at Spooky Nook Sports! Meet the Poison Pups! Toxic names - totally harmless cuddles. These Great Pyrenees pups were born on November 24th, 2025. They are as sweet as they are fluffy. They love to romp around the house and see what puppy trouble they can get into, but once they are tired, they love nothing more than to cuddle up in the lap of their foster family. We hope no one tells them that pretty soon they will be far too big to be lap dogs! The poison pups have been socialized with other dogs, kids and cats in their foster home. They have done well with everyone they've met and are curious about everyone and everything! Because of their breed and their size, the poison pups would do best in homes with fenced in yards as they love to roam the yard and need lots of room to grow! These will be large dogs when they are full grown, will require lifelong grooming and will likely have some personality traits that are consistent with that of their breed, so potential families will need to take these things into consideration when applying for these adorable fluffs! The Poison pups can't wait to meet you! Once exposed, you’ll never want the antidote! If these puppies seem like the right fit for your family - apply today! Their adoption fees are $400.
