Linus is an almost 2 yr old neutered male bernese mountain dog/golden retriever mix who weighs 120 pounds. He was adopted from us as a puppy and sadly returned when his family was moving and he could not go along. They renamed him Ranger and he does know his name. Ranger is a gentle giant who loves everyone he meets. Ranger previously lived on a farm with farm animals, other dogs, cats, kids and loved the visiting guests. Although Ranger loves everyone, he does bond quickly to men and would love to go for hikes, have a job and have a person to call his own. He rode well in the car, was said to be house trained and he was great when they left him loose in the home. While she is still nervous about normal things like going through doorways and approaching humans for attention, she’ll gently wag her tail and listen intently when her foster mom talks to her, telling her she’s a good girl. We can already see her potential slowly slipping through her timid exterior!! Greta is looking for a calm home with a fenced in yard and at least one other dog to show her the ropes. Training is a work in progress, but she is doing very well with her crate training. With time and patience, this gorgeous girl will thrive!
