Story

Tobit is an amazing dog and always smiling! It breaks our hearts to have to re-home him as he is smart and a loyal companion that we live immensely . Tobit aka “Toby” is fully housebroken and will let you know if he needs to go out. He loves sticks and he loves belly rubs. He’s a puppy but he doesn’t chew on any furniture. He lives his toys but they have to be sturdy! He has been in a home with another dog but he prefers to be the only one and likes to be the dominant one. Though he is playful and very friendly. he’d do best in a home where he is the only dog. He needs a home that has a fence and yard to run around. He needs someone to be home most of the day as he needs to be around people or he gets anxious. He does well in the crate but he’d much rather be out and about in the family mix. He walks great on a leash. He’s a big guy and needs a family that is able to continue to work with his puppy manners. He turns 1 in December. He’s ready to join his forever family💕

Story

🌟 Starr 🌟 This beautiful 3 y/o girl came to us from a commercial breeder. She is about 32 pounds. She was said to be a minibernadoodle although we definitely see some Australian Shepherd in that gorgeous face! Whatever her breed mix, one thing is certain: Starr is incredibly special. When Starr first entered rescue, the world — especially humans — was scary. She simply hadn’t learned that people could be safe, gentle and kind. But over the last several months, Starr has made so much progress. She now walks beautifully on a leash, stays close to her foster mom and wants to be part of whatever is going on around her. She loves stuffies, bones, food and the company of playful, confident dogs. She has even met a cat and did great! 🐶🐱 Her biggest hurdle is still learning to fully trust people. Starr may shy away from direct eye contact, quick movements or someone reaching toward her. She isn’t going to greet her adopter by jumping into their arms. But if you give her time, patience and the freedom to come to you, you’ll start seeing glimpses of the dog hiding underneath all that uncertainty. Starr’s perfect home: -A quieter, predictable home -A calm, patient and confident adopter -At least one resident dog is required to help show her the ropes -A fenced yard because Starr has come to love running freely and smelling all the smells at her leisure -Someone willing to provide structure and routine -A family who understands that trust isn’t built overnight -Humans who will celebrate the tiny victories right along with the big ones Starr is crate trained and sleeps comfortably in her crate at night. House-training is going great as she feels safer outside. Starr isn’t looking for someone to fix her. She’s looking for someone willing to show her, day after day, that she’s finally safe 🥹💗 There is something incredibly special about earning the trust of a dog who has every reason to be cautious. We know Starr’s person is out there — we just need this post to reach them. Starr has been spayed, microchipped and is up to date with vaccines and preventatives. She is prescribed medication to alleviate her anxiety which should be continued in her forever home until a doctor says otherwise. She is being fostered in Collegeville, Montgomery County. A meet and greet with all family members, including furry friends, and a home visit are part of the application process. ✨Maybe you aren’t the person Starr runs to on day one. Maybe you’re the person she finally learns she never has to run from again ✨ Apply at www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe’s House Rescue Kennel License 9117 Sinking Spring, PA

Spayed or Neutered,

Story

Ava is a sweet Mini Bernedoodle who is gradually growing into herself. After spending years in a puppy mill, Ava is learning that human companionship can be warm, safe, and loving. She enjoys sunshine, long walks in the fresh air, and smelling the world all around her. She appreciates affection, though she doesn't always know how to ask for it, and loves long naps on her special blanket. As she makes herself at home, you may catch her sneaking around the house to watch her favorite humans. Her sharp mind and quick instincts have helped to keep her safe thus far on her journey, but she's learning to feel safe and smile too. Ava is house-trained with in-room supervision, and training will easily progress as she learns to trust more. She is properly crate trained, and enjoys her "room" for rest, meal time, and decompression. She walks well on a leash, knows the "wait" command, understands "okay" as her release word, but she can also spook easily around loud noises, children, and unsolicited pet-attempts. Dogs do not bother her unless they are reactive, and squirrels don't catch her attention either. After trying different menu options, she eats a balanced diet of probiotic foods and chicken treats, and the occasional fresh boiled chicken and rice. Ava will benefit most from a home with no young children and calm environments. A fenced in yard with room to roam will help her learn how to be more herself independently in a space she thoroughly enjoys, which is an important thing for her introverted personality. She is shy around other dogs but accepts their company, friendly cats as well, and she does like to curiously watch her family love on fellow furry friends. Ava has a healing journey ahead of her yet, but the right home will find a loyal family member for life. Apply at www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe’s House Rescue Kennel License 9117 Sinking Spring, PA

Story

Onyx’s story is one of resilience, survival, and finally getting the chance to just be a dog. When Onyx first came to us after he was minutes away from being euthanized at a local shelter, he was incredibly sick with pneumonia and facing serious medical challenges. He underwent multiple surgeries, emergency vet visits, and long recovery times. For so long, Onyx never had the opportunity to simply enjoy life because he was too busy fighting to feel better. But Onyx never gave up — and neither did we. Today, after being loved back to health, Onyx is thriving and embracing every moment of the happy, healthy life he always deserved. He loves to run, play, cuddle, and soak up affection from everyone around him. He’s incredibly friendly, affectionate, and full of goofy personality. One of his cutest quirks is his signature “kangaroo jumps,” so he’ll need a securely fenced yard with a high fence because this boy can bounce. Onyx is hard of hearing and has only one ear due to the double TECA surgeries he underwent. Even so, he works incredibly hard to learn routines and follow commands. He does best with loud verbal cues and hand signals to help guide him. Despite everything he’s endured, Onyx remains deeply trusting, loving, and eager to connect with people. He is dog-friendly, cat-friendly, kid-friendly, and truly loves everyone he meets. He’s also extremely food motivated and will happily do just about anything for a treat. Onyx has overcome more than most dogs ever should. Now, all he needs is a forever family willing to love this resilient, goofy, affectionate boy exactly as he is.
