Ivan loves to spend time outside looking for sticks and he has learned to play fetch as well. At his foster home, he is now almost fully house trained and is doing well with crate training too. Ivan loves to play with other dogs, is super smart and is easy to train. He does appear to shed, so would not be matches for families that have allergies. We estimated that they will be large sized dogs when they become full grown due to their current size at such a young age. Meet Sushi! Sushi is a 5 year old spayed female Bernese Mountain Dog/Standard Poodle who weighs 66.9 lbs. She was born at a breeding kennel and kept as a "pet," though she lived outside. The family decided it was best for her to be rehomed so she could live the life she deserves inside a home. We are grateful for the opportunity to keep Sushi safe and provide her with the chance at finding the devoted family she desperately deserves! Transitioning to living in a home versus roaming free on a farm has gone much smoother than we expected for this girl! She does enjoy being outside but seems content to be inside as well. She absolutely loves people and the attention they give her. In her world, strangers are non-existent! Sushi has gotten along well with other dogs but will need a home without cats. Training is off to a great start, and she seems eager to please. Her tail is in constant motion and her smile stretches from ear to ear. Hi, I'm Kobe! I'm a 2 year old male Bernese Mountain dog but my foster family say I look more like a big teddy bear! I was surrendered to Zoe's House by a commercial breeder. I lived outdoors for most of my life. Learning about life inside of a home, was a whole new world for me. I was afraid to walk on carpets, go up and down steps, and eat out of a dog bowl. I felt more comfortable outdoors until I was introduced to a warm house! Now, I run up and down the steps, play on the carpets, and jump on the couch. I also sleep in a cozy bed with a fan on me. Kobe has a docile personality and loves to be around his family. He is truly a gentle giant who loves receiving attention. He is good with kids and other dogs, however, he wouldn't mind being the only pet. He currently lives with another dog and will play with her periodically. He is still learning how to play and interact with other dogs. He enjoys lounging outdoors and looks forward to his daily walks. Kobe is housebroken and does not have accidents in his foster house if taken out on a regular basis Potential adopters may need to meet Kobe several times so he can get comfortable with you. He is very shy and nervous the first time meeting people but is very loyal once he trusts you. Kobe is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, wormed and on monthly preventatives. He had bi-lateral eye surgery to repair entropion. The surgery was successful and he looks adorable. If you are interested in meeting Kobe please apply at www.zoeshouserescue.com.
