Meet Chance – The Gentle Giant with a Heart Full of Hope Chance is a 11-month-old Anatolian Shepherd/pyrenees mix who embodies everything we love about the breed—loyal, gentle, calm, and deeply loving. He’s great with dogs of all sizes, wonderful with children, and even gets along beautifully with cats and livestock. With his easygoing temperament, Chance is the kind of dog who brings a quiet strength and steady presence to any home. He enjoys affection and will happily accept your love, but he’s also content doing his own thing, making him the perfect balance of independence and companionship. Chance didn’t have the easiest start in life. He was found as a tiny, underweight puppy—his body covered in parasites and his skin painfully inflamed from mites. But with proper care, patience, and love, he healed quickly and has blossomed into the beautiful, resilient boy he is today. Now, Chance is ready for the one thing he’s never had: a forever family who will love and protect him the way he deserves. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Phoebe!  She is a sweet, submissive, dog-friendly, freckled badger-faced, female Great Pyrenees rescued from a local shelter. Phoebe is almost 4 yrs old and weighs 80 pounds.  Phoebe is a little shy when new people approach her, but she will walk right up to you on her own for pets and loving. Phoebe is good with dogs. She enjoys playing with larger dogs and leaves little dogs alone.  She is house trained and is good on a leash, but has a tendency to pull.  She rides well in a car and loves to look out the window.   Phoebe is very afraid of loud noises like thunder and fireworks, so she needs a little nook to hide in when she feels compelled. She is also not a fan of grooming. However she does love keeping squirrels and birds out of her yard. Phoebe is a very loving girl just waiting for her forever home. Currently she is in a foster home North of Dallas, Texas. Any out of state adopters are responsible for arranging their own transportation. Phoebe is spayed and up to date on vaccines. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Barry! He is a gentle, goofy, laidback, 1yr old, 90lb male Great Pyrenees mix. Barry has a lot more of a white Lab build and coat, but still total Pyrenees couch potato energy, even as a puppy! His foster family affectionately calls him 'Butter Bear' because he is so sweet and squishy. He is sweet with people. He can be a little bashful, but will give you gentle kisses and snuggles. He did great at our recent adoption event meeting lots of little kids and adults, he didn't jump up on anyone and ended up laying down calmly.  Barry is great with dogs. He loves to play and roughhouse with the large dogs in his foster home. He hasn't been tested with cats or small dogs, but his foster family thinks he would do well with them. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Barry is very go with the flow. He is house trained. He walks beautifully on the leash, keeping a perfect strolling pace! He gets a little nervous during car rides and will drool a lot.  He has been with his foster family since he was a young puppy found on the streets, so he will need his forever family to be patient with him while he settles in. Barry is currently in a foster home in DFW area, Texas. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging their own transportation - most make the drive themselves. Barry is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
