Story
Meet Chance – The Gentle Giant with a Heart Full of Hope Chance is a 11-month-old Anatolian Shepherd/pyrenees mix who embodies everything we love about the breed—loyal, gentle, calm, and deeply loving. He’s great with dogs of all sizes, wonderful with children, and even gets along beautifully with cats and livestock. With his easygoing temperament, Chance is the kind of dog who brings a quiet strength and steady presence to any home. He enjoys affection and will happily accept your love, but he’s also content doing his own thing, making him the perfect balance of independence and companionship. Chance didn’t have the easiest start in life. He was found as a tiny, underweight puppy—his body covered in parasites and his skin painfully inflamed from mites. But with proper care, patience, and love, he healed quickly and has blossomed into the beautiful, resilient boy he is today. Now, Chance is ready for the one thing he’s never had: a forever family who will love and protect him the way he deserves. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Rosemary!  Nicknamed “Rosie,” this girl was born around November 2020 and weighs healthy 75 pounds. We had her DNA tested!  She is 85% Great Pyrenees, 3% Anatolian Shepherd Dog, 3% Siberian Husky, 3% Saint Bernard, 2% Komondor, and 2% Maremma. She has the energy of a puppy and loves to play.  She she loves to give kisses and wields a strong Pyr paw! Rosemary gets along with dogs of all sizes and loves to play with them all. At mealtime though, she wants everyone else’s food.  We feed her separately so the others can eat in peace. She hasn’t been cat tested, but she lives with little dogs. She might be very interested when first meeting a cat, then would lose interest unless they try to eat her food. Rosie is house trained. We have begun crate training her.  She has progressed to crawling into the crate on her own.  She walks well on a leash.  She does well on car rides; she has a little trouble loading up, but then settles down for the ride. If you are looking for an energetic dog who will love you enthusiastically and keep you entertained, Rosemary could be the dog for you! SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 11, 2025, 8:34 am
