Story
Meet Sunny !! Sunny is available for adoption, but HE IS IN SANCTUARY, which means BROC will support his care and needs for the rest of his life. Hi, I’m Sunny!  Can  you believe I’m 17 years old?  Me neither! I may have the years, but I sure don’t act them—I still bounce, dance, and prance around the house like a pup. I’ve got a silly, goofy streak that makes everyone laugh, and a sweet heart that just wants to be near my people.   Even though I don’t let age slow me down, I do need a little extra care these days—things like vet visits, medicine, and the comforts that help me keep living my best (and silliest) life.   Your support helps me keep dancing through my golden years, making people smile, and soaking up every moment of love and joy. Thank you for being part of my story—you’re the sunshine that keeps me going! Sunny is adoptable to someone willing to take on his special needs. If you would like to help support Sunny, please visit our website at bichonrescueoc.org and click the donate button.

Story
Biscuit is an angel. He is a Bichonpoo. Ithat is under 2 years old. I don’t want to re-home him, but I have no choice. My other dog, that I’ve had longer, keeps attacking Biscuit. Biscuit is passive and gets along with most dogs, but he has been picked on. Biscuit is NOT potty trained, although I have tried. He will need a love and experienced owner that can train him, walk him a lot and give him lots of love. Biscuit is not used to people as he’s usually only only around me. People scare him until he gets to know them. Whoever adopts him will need to be very patient with him. Once he does feel safe, he’s a total love dog. He is not fixed because only one testicle dropped and surgery would be required to get him fixed. Shot info can be further discussed.

Story
This special boy is looking for someone to open their heart and home. Bo is blind and can be very fearful, and right now he’s in boarding in Southern California — we’d love nothing more than to get him into a loving home.Bo needs a patient, calm home with no kids or other animals, someone experienced with reactivity who is willing to go slow and not give up on him. Structure and routine help him feel safe and build confidence, and a quiet environment is best since loud noises can startle him. With love and stability, Bo will blossom into a wonderful, devoted companion. Please consider fostering or adopting Bo today.March 17, 2026, 4:55 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bert & Ernie - Tiny Duo, Giant Personalities Some friendships are just meant to last forever, and Bert and Ernie are proof of that. These two tiniest terriers found themselves out on the streets when their beloved family fell on hard times and had to move somewhere that didn't allow pups. Thankfully, a kind neighbor stepped in and kept them safe until they were shelter bound - and when we saw just how little they were, we knew we had to squeeze them in. And oh boy, are we glad we did. Bert and Ernie may be tiny, but their personalities are absolutely enormous. They like to puff themselves up and act like the toughest guys on the block, especially around bigger dogs, but it's mostly just a bit of terrier theatrics. Truthfully, these boys have spent some time looking out for themselves, so they come in a little sassy and a little suspicious - but once you're in their club, you're in. And when that happens, you'll discover just how funny, affectionate, and downright delightful these two really are. These boys are completely bonded and will not be separated for adoption. Trust us on this one - you don't just want Bert and Ernie. Two tiny dogs, double the personality, and a lifetime of laughter waiting for the lucky human who brings them home. If you want to be that lucky human, please fill out our application here.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 12, 2026, 1:18 am
