Hank is an adorable and energetic little guy who arrived at the shelter on 1/7/2026 as a surrender. He loves treats and readily sits when instructed. He is also house trained and dog friendly. Although he can be a bundle of fun, he is also a great lab baby. Hank is ready for adoption and is eagerly waiting to meet his forever family. Hank weighs 12 lbs. and is UTD on vaccines. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. He has also tested negative for heartworms. Please stop by to meet this precious guy in run 32; his ID # is 16197. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Meet Tommy!  Looking for a workout partner to help you meet your fitness goals in the New Year? So is Tommy! Tommy is a 5 yr old Shih Tzu whose human mom passed away about a year ago. Family members did step in to try to give Tommy a loving home, but having health issues of their own they found themselves overwhelmed and realized Tommy deserved more than they could provide. So they made the selfless decision to surrender him to RMG and allow him to find a family where he could go on to live his best life! Tommy is great with all dogs and cats. He’s the perfect combination of playful and cuddly, making him such a great little guy. Tommy is, however, “pleasantly plump” so we are looking for an active family who will help him meet his fitness goals so he can live a long and healthy life!
