Brad is a real cutie! This 7 year old Bichon Frise is really living it up in his Foster home, learning how to enjoy every aspect of being a beloved dog! At only 17 pounds, Brad adorably wants to be a big dog. He loves to watch them, play with them, and run with them. He loves small dogs, too, though! He's an equal opportunity dog buddy :) Brad has quickly learned that if he comes by name on command, he will get praise, cuddles and pets. Smart guy! He's working on leash training, potty training, and other basic commands, and we are happy to report that he's making great strides! If you ask him what his ideal Saturday looks like, we are pretty sure he will tell you it includes lounging on the couch watching one of his favorite shows with the occasional check in on his stuffies, and making sure to be in the mix when his foster humans and canine siblings make a move. His ideal forever family will be patient, loving, and willing to cuddle with him every step of the way while he continues to learn the ropes! Let us know if you'd like to meet Brad! Brad's adoption fee is $500

Meet Paprika- the best cuddle buddy you’ll find! Despite his rough start after arriving here at the shelter, Paprika loves nothing more than being by his people- especially the one person who he chooses to love most! Paprika bonds very strongly with one person, and will shower them with constant love and affection- and will ask for endless belly rubs in return, of course! Even though he has one eye, he refuses to let that slow him down, and Paprika is always ready to follow his person wherever they go, even if that means braving the cold outdoors! Despite not being a fan of being left alone, Paprika is working hard on his crate training in his foster home, and will settle down in a cozy crate with a nice bed for him. Paprika is also a master of the cue “sit”, and will happily sit down and look at you with the most adorable face if it means getting yummy snacks! With treats being a big motivator, Paprika is eager to learn more cues to help him be the best buddy he can be for you. If you’re looking for a perfect sized lap dog to spend hours at home with you soaking up your attention, Paprika sounds like the perfect match for you! Paprika is an All-Star dog! His adoption comes with some extra benefits at time of adoption. Their adoption appointment includes a discussion with our Training Team, and they will go home with their very own no-pull-harness and a few enrichment goodies to help get them off to a good start! Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Story
Rocky is 5 years old. We acquired him from family friends who still have his parents. He is a loyal companion. Protective. Alerts us when someone is in the yard, at the door, etc. Craves attention. Needs to be with a family that is home with him often. Loves to play fetch. Loves massages. Loves treats. Loves walks. Loves car rides. His best friend is our cat. He is house trained, he will let us know when he has to go, but when we are gone for an extended period of time, he will potty in the house. We recently started putting him in a kennel when we are going to be gone for more than a couple hours. We are a busy family and feel that Rocky deserves to be with a family that can give him more attention. His biggest downfall is that he is food aggressive. If he finds human food or we drop human food and he gets ahold of it he becomes aggressive if we try to take it away, so we don’t try to anymore.
