Story
Camilo is a gentle, sweet boy who is looking for a patient family to help him settle into his new home. He can be a little nervous when meeting new people and experiencing new situations, but once he warms up, his affectionate personality begins to shine. All Camilo really wants is a cozy place to relax, plenty of pets, and someone to give him the love and attention he deserves. Camilo is still getting used to the big world around him and may simply be a quieter, more reserved guy. He prefers to take things at his own pace and appreciates people who understand that trust takes time. The good news is that once you've earned his trust, you'll have a loyal companion by your side. Sadly, Camilo came to us when his previous owner had to relocate and was unable to take him along. While this change has been difficult for him, Camilo is ready to start his next chapter and find the forever home he's been waiting for. If you're looking for a kind-hearted companion who will blossom with patience, love, and understanding, Camilo may be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Brooks! Brooks and his friend were found by a kind-hearted person and brought to us when no owner could be located. We did our best to find where they belonged, but unfortunately no one ever came forward to claim them.  Brooks is a sweet, friendly boy who loves being close to his people. If you're looking for a lap dog, Brooks is happy to apply for the job. He enjoys attention, affection, and spending time with his family. He gets along with other dogs and is generally friendly with other pets, but can be bossy and try to be intimidating. Brooks can be a little resource protective at times with other dogs, too. Otherwise he does well and currently is rooming with 3 other dogs.  His adoption fee is $400 and includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip, a negative 4DX test, and he is current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. If you'd like to make Brooks part of your family, please apply at www.adoggie4you.org. Brooks is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Due to state regulations, we cannot transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 3, 2026, 4:59 pm

Story
Charles is a delightful Bichon Frise puppy! He is a bouncy happy little fella. He will delight you and keep you smiling. He was born in a commercial breeding facility and had not been exposed to the same things a puppy born in your home has. However, he is adjusting very well and will blossom in his own family. Like all puppies, he will need structure and a patient, loving home. We recommend training for all puppies—not only to give Michael important learning skills, but because you and your puppy will create a stronger bond just by going through the training together. Charles is fully vetted. He has been neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of his adopter. His adoption fee is $1200..00. He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so Liam wants to be sure his family is all in for better or for worse! IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 12 MONTHS): You must have a very flexible work schedule or someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). If you work long hours, have a busy social schedule, or are not financially secure, then a puppy is not for you. We adopt in and to the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits. If you would like to apply to be considered as an adoption candidate, please fill out an application for adoption on our website at: https://www.rescuetailsanimalwelfare.org/info/adoption We are all volunteers with full-time jobs. We try to get back to all applicants within 72 hours. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us via email/ Do not call.
