She’s very quiet, incredibly sweet, and she loves other dogs, so she’d be thrilled to have a furry sibling to show her the ropes.     If you’re looking for a peaceful little companion who will blossom with love and patience, Demi is ready to find her forever family.  Apply today! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Say hello to Nita, an adorable little Bichon Frise who is ready to find a loving family to call her own…and a lap to claim forever. Nita is an absolute sweetheart who loves snuggles, attention, and being close to her people. She’s the definition of a perfect lap dog and will happily supervise your TV time, work-from-home life, and snack breaks with expert-level cuteness. She also gets along great with other dogs.     Now, Nita does have one important request:  She’s a petite lady who prefers her affection to be respectful and on her terms. Because of this, she’ll do best in a dog savvy home with no small children, as sudden grabbing or being handled when she’s not comfortable can make her a little nippy. (Basically, she’s sweet as sugar… but she’s not a fan of surprise hugs.)      If you’re looking for a gentle, fluffy companion who will adore you endlessly, Nita may be your perfect match. Could she be yours?  Apply today! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. Story
Kosmo #0067 is a 4-month-old Bichon who weighs 8 pounds and is expected to remain small as an adult. He is playful, smart, outgoing, and very people-oriented. Kosmo is working on potty training and does well on a schedule. He knows several commands, including sit, down, off, potty, speak, and crate. He has done well with other dogs and with children he has met. As a young puppy, Kosmo will need continued training and socialization. He will also require regular grooming every 6 to 8 weeks, and adopters should be financially prepared for that ongoing expense. Kosmo is looking for a committed home ready for the time, structure, and care a young puppy needs. Kosmos is slated to attend our adoption event on Saturday, February 21 from 11am to 2pm at PetSmart, 7475 Greenbelt Rd, Greenbelt, MD. How to Adopt: To apply, visit www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoption-request-form If you have submitted an adoption application within the past six months, please email us to check the status of your application prior to the event. Approved adopters will have priority at the event. Questions dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org
