Story
Meet Flufferkins! Flufferkins is a 13 lb, 6 year old Bichon Frise. She spent the first half of her life being bred at a puppy mill. She is learning that people are safe and is coming out of her shell. Flufferkins hasn’t learned the joy of toys or playing yet. With some patience a confident dog in the home, she will learn. In terms of house training, Flufferkins has learned to go outside when the door is opened and comes back in when it’s time. She will need routine and rewards to help her get it down. Flufferkins tends to hang around her crate, especially when she is nervous. She has slowly widened her area of exploration as she gets more comfortable. Flufferkins is waiting for someone who will give her an amazing second half of her life. She will love you endlessly in return. Flufferkins is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. Story
Meet Plum Precious! Plum Precious is a quiet 6-year-old, 15 lb Bichon Frise. She comes from a puppy mill, so she's apprehensive about most things, but give her the chance and she'll frolic about the yard with much delight! She has done well in her foster home with loud children and her foster sister, Miss Scarlett. Plum loves food - especially cheese! She's still learning how to "dog" and doesn't quite get the purpose of a leash, squeaky toys or balls... But give her a crinkly snack toy and she's on it. Plum also loves to snuggle up with a blankie or towel and is good about using puppy pads. She likes observing things, so she doesn't need to be in the middle of the action, but if she's ignored for too long she'll bark for some affection. Plum truly is a precious, curious, little thing who will make your heart sing. Plum Precious is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. Miss Scarlett is a 6-year-old Bichon Frise weighing in at about 12 lbs. Happy and sweet, this little lady is just starting to show her playful side. She has the cutest little tail wags, and her foster family is seeing them more and more! Her favorite thing to do is to walk around the house and look at *everything* and the same can be said for being outside in the yard. There's so much to learn about and see! After all, getting used to her foster home has been a big adjustment, but she's done beautifully with kids in the home and her fellow foster dog, Plum. She's still getting used to leash walking and going up and down stairs. Coming from a puppy mill, she's still learning how to "dog." Treats have been a pleasant surprise in her life, and she has so much more to look forward to in a forever home! With Miss Scarlett in your life, the best is yet to come! Miss Scarlet is currently being fostered in Cincinnati OH. Her adoption fee is $450.00. Story
Beignet is a delicate little soul who is just beginning to discover that the world can be a safe and kind place. This 1-year-old, 12lb Bichapoo (Bichon & Poodle) is still learning how to be a dog. New sights, sounds, and people can feel overwhelming to her. She will need a patient and understanding adopter who is willing to move at her pace. Beignet is not the kind of dog who will immediately run up for cuddles - but with time, consistency, and gentle encouragement, she will slowly begin to trust. Watching her take those small, brave steps is incredibly rewarding for someone who understands shy dogs. She would do best in a quiet home with a confident, friendly dog who can help show her the ropes and build her confidence. A secure, fenced yard is important as she is not yet comfortable on a leash and will try to retreat if frightened. Beignet is looking for a calm, committed home that will give her the time she needs to blossom. In return, you'll get to witness a truly special transformation as she learns what it means to feel safe and sound. Beignet is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi… I’m Ned. Have you ever wanted a Golden Doodle, but smaller? I look just that! Please read my bio thoroughly. Only available for adoption in Texas. I’m a quiet, gentle guy with a really soft heart. I came here with a few of my companions through a transfer, and I’ll be honest—I’m still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. I haven’t always had that, so it takes me a little time to trust new people. At first, I might hang back and just watch. I need someone very patient who will let me go at my own pace and not rush me. I need someone who can understand it may take a long time for me to become comfortable around humans, as I have had a rough beginning to life. I will try to run away from you. But I am not aggressive, or have ever tried to bite.  With me being scared, I need you to understand that I will need patience with going outside. I will try to run away, so keep me on a harness until I learn coming back inside on my own is okay. I do feel more confident around other dogs, so a home with another canine is a must. They can help show me that life isn't so bad. I am unsure how I do with cats. Older considerate kids only.  Due to my breed, I’ll also need regular grooming, but I’ve been very good for it here. Each time I will even relax in someone’s lap while they are taking care of me… I think that shows I do want to trust—I just need a little time to get there. I do want to be upfront about my health—I’m heartworm positive right now, but I’ve already started treatment. I’ve been on antibiotics and am going through the ProHeart 12 protocol approved by the American Heartworm Society. The good news is that with this treatment, I should test negative in about 8–10 months. I’m neutered, up to date on all my vaccines and prevention, and microchipped, so I’m ready when the right person comes along. My adoption fee is $400. If you think you might be my person, you can apply at www.adoggie4you.org. Due to me being scared and nervous, I am not an option for out-of-state transport, and must remain in Texas. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 19, 2026, 3:48 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Max and Sophie.  They are a bonded pair of Bichon Frise mixes that are 11 years old.  They are litter mates that have been together their entire lives.  Max and Sophie have just lost the only home they have known when their owner moved into a nursing home. This sweet duo are looking for a loving person who will adopt them together.   They keep each other company, so they are easier than having only one dog!Max weighs 9.6 pounds and is in good health.  Sophie weighs 9.2 pounds and is also in good health except she is partially blind due to cataracts. (She can see light and dark, just no detail).  Both are neutered and UTD on their vaccines.  They are scheduled for a dental cleaning on June 9 which will be covered by the rescue. These two are sweet and friendly as can be.  They cuddle together like two peas in a pod when they sleep at night.  They love to go on walks!  Sophie charges ahead on her lead, she doesn't seem bothered at all by her limited sight!  Once she learns where everything is in her home, she will maneuver around just fine.  They both LOVE being outside in their foster's fenced yard....so many things to smell and the sunshine feels great!  Max is the more outgoing of the pair, but once Sophie gets to know you, she will demand to be cuddled!!  Both are snuggle bugs that want to be with their person.  They are very friendly pups.FOSTER UPDATE:  After 2 weeks with us, Sophie has graduated with honors in house training!!  Max still occasionally wants to lift a leg in the house so he gets a B-.  Both of them have made huge gains in this important area.  We are very proud of them!! Foster update #2:  Max is officially house trained too!!  They are so friendly and such 'easy keepers'!!Can you provide a loving home for Max and Sophie?  Fill out an application and let's get the ball rolling!***Max and Sophie are eligible for our Senior to Senior adoption program.  If the adopter is over 60 and uses our vet, the rescue will cover their vet bills.  You provide the home, food, toys and LOVE.  Frankies Furry Friends will pay their vet bills.  This special program is a WIN-WIN for everyone.Adoption Fee to defray vet costs:  $100Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 19, 2026, 10:53 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Chester! Chester’s story started on the streets, where he was found running around on his own until a kind family took him in and helped him get the care he needed.  He was covered in fleas and suffered a little from flea dermatitis, where he had no fur. Now, this handsome boy is ready to find a forever home of his own! Chester can be a little vocal when meeting new people and may bark at first, but once he gets to know you, his loving personality shines through. He’s an affectionate dog who enjoys attention and will happily jump up to say hello. Chester loves playing with his toys, enjoys spending time with his people, and gets along well with other dogs. If you’re looking for a fun, friendly companion with lots of love to give, Chester may be the perfect match for your family. Chester is neutered, 4DX negative, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. His adoption fee is $400. To apply to adopt Chester, visit www.adoggie4you.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Myles — a happy, lovable Maltipoo who’s ready to find his forever family! Born around March 12, 2025, Myles weighs 17.6 pounds and is full of personality. He came to us as part of a 29-dog seizure where, although the dogs were cared for, they didn’t get the individual attention and socialization they needed. Despite that, Myles has proven to be incredibly friendly and people-loving. He thrives on attention and is always excited to be around his humans. Myles would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he truly enjoys companionship and being part of daily life. Myles has also been seen by an ophthalmologist and has cataracts in one eye. He is currently on special eye drops, and we are hopeful for improvement with continued treatment. He also has a playful side—he absolutely loves toys and is always up for some fun. Whether it’s a game of toss or just carrying his favorite toy around, he knows how to enjoy life. He’s currently learning how to walk on a leash and will benefit from a patient adopter who can continue helping him build confidence and skills. With his sweet nature and eagerness to connect, Myles is sure to make a wonderful companion. Myles’ adoption fee is $400. If you’re ready to welcome this charming boy into your home, you can apply at www.adoggie4you.org . This dog is currently in Texas; however, he can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, or along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Quinn! Quinn's story is one of resilience, healing, and unconditional love. She was found abandoned on the streets alongside her sister in heartbreaking condition. Severely neglected, Quinn was covered in painful mats, suffering from extensive hair loss caused by poor nutrition and flea infestation, and struggling with serious eye issues that had gone untreated for far too long. Since coming into rescue, Quinn has received extensive veterinary care and has been under the supervision of a local veterinary ophthalmology specialist. After numerous tests, treatments, and medications, we now know that Quinn has severe chronic dry eye, a condition common in her breed. Unfortunately, this has resulted in significant scarring of both corneas. The good news is that Quinn's right eye is responding well to treatment, and with lifelong medical management, her vision can likely be preserved. Her left eye has faced additional challenges, including a corneal ulcer and infection, but after completing her course of antibiotics and ongoing care, she has shown remarkable improvement. Despite everything she has endured, Quinn remains one of the sweetest dogs you could ever hope to meet. She is calm, gentle, affectionate, and happiest when curled up in your lap. Quinn is not a barker, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and has an easygoing, laid-back personality that makes her a joy to have around. Quinn is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention and Bravecto flea and tick prevention. We have not yet tested Quinn with cats or children, so those situations are currently unknown. Adoption Fee: $400 To apply for Quinn, please visit www.adoggie4you.org. Quinn is currently located in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (Kentucky), and locations along the East Coast for an additional $225 transport fee. Please note that we are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 19, 2026, 3:48 pm
