Turns out, I'm not as spry as I used to be, and I lost my way back! But here I am, heart murmur and all, still the king of cuddles and goofy grins. I'm looking for a forever home where I can share my boundless love and maybe chase a squirrel or two (or just dream about it from a comfy couch). Adopt me for a lifetime of laughs and loyalty! Barney is a senior Shih Tzu. He is very sweet and potty trained and does great with dogs and cats and kids of all ages. This sweet boy is struggling with some skin issues that he came in with and was diagnosed with a grade 2 heart murmur when he was neutered on intake. This is Mr. Tequila, the life of the party! He came into the shelter with his buddy, Magic the dog. His owners describe him as a `happy little dog with some attitude`, and loves to be with other dogs. He may be small, but he is quite full of energy, and has a twinkle in his eye whenever he decides to cause some mischief. He`s not shy to let you know how he feels, and will make sure you understand what he`s saying very clearly. Tequila does best when he gets to live and play with dogs of all kinds, but he isn`t particularly great with cats, and needs a home where there are none. We`re not exactly sure how well he does with kids, so consider bringing them to our facility for a meet-and-greet, or taking him to your house on a paw pass! While you`re at it, consider taking Magic along for the ride too; nothing beats a combination like a little tequila and a little magic!
