Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bubbles, a little Shih Tzu puppy with a fluffy coat, a playful personality, and absolutely no understanding of personal space yet. Bubbles’ mom came to us as a stray in terrible condition — severely matted, neglected, and very pregnant. Shortly after arriving in rescue, she gave birth to four puppies. Sadly, one puppy didn’t survive, but Bubbles and the remaining siblings have grown into healthy, happy puppies now looking for forever homes. Born on February 28, 2026, Bubbles is curious, playful, and into all the normal puppy things like toys, exploring, and getting distracted every five seconds. Like any puppy, he’ll need basic training including housebreaking, crate training, leash walking, and learning manners as he grows up. His future family also needs to be prepared for grooming. Shih Tzus require frequent brushing and regular grooming appointments to prevent painful matting, especially around the behind area. Puppy coats are often even more work while the adult coat comes in, so staying on top of grooming is really important for dogs like Bubbles. Bubbles is neutered, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and microchipped—he’s all set for his next chapter. His adoption fee is $600. Apply to adopt Bubbles at: www.adoggie4you.org Bubbles is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast. There is an additional $250 transport fee. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 8, 2026, 1:40 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there… I’m Butterscotch I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve been told I’m pretty much the definition of a good dog. I’m house trained, quiet, calm, and happiest when I’m curled up in a warm lap. I have a gentle, submissive nature and an easygoing personality—I just want to love and be loved. I came into rescue as a stray, very pregnant and needing help. Not long after, I welcomed three beautiful puppies into the world and devoted myself to being the best mama I could be. Now that they’re growing up and finding their own paths, it’s finally my turn to find a family to call my own. I’m a Shih Tzu with a soft heart and a sweet soul. I settle in easily, enjoy being around people, and love feeling like part of whatever you’re doing. Whether it’s a quiet evening at home or a little ride alongside you, I’m just happy to be near my person. I do need regular grooming to keep my coat healthy and tangle-free—but I promise I’ll sit sweetly for it. I’m spayed, fully vaccinated, current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, and 4DX negative. I’m also microchipped. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who will be your loyal little shadow, I’m right here waiting. Adoption fee: $500 Apply at: www.adoggie4you.org I’m currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Oregon, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Ohio, Kentucky, and along the East Coast for an additional $225 transport fee (please note: transport is not available to Rhode Island or Massachusetts).Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 8, 2026, 1:40 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hey, I’m Danielle! I’m a Havanese/Poodle mix born around 3/11/2026, and I’m officially looking for my own people. A nice couple found me and my little family near a busy highway after we’d clearly been struggling for a while. We were covered in fleas and ticks, skinny, hungry, and sadly one of my siblings didn’t make it. Luckily, rescue stepped in and now things are looking a whole lot better for me. These days I’m doing what puppies do best — playing with toys, zooming around, and acting like everything is exciting because honestly… it is. I’ll need basic puppy training and regular grooming to keep my fluffy coat looking good, but I promise I’m worth it. I’m fixed, microchipped, current on vaccines, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. My adoption fee is $500. To apply, visit www.adoggie4you.org I'm in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and locations along the East Coast. If transport is needed, an additional fee of $225 will apply. Please note that we are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 8, 2026, 1:40 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Dixie!  I’m a sweet, gentle girl who came to rescue with my little family after we were found along the highway. I spent my days raising my two puppies and making sure they were safe, and now that they’re growing up, it’s finally my turn to find a forever home of my own. The people here say I have a way of winning hearts the moment you meet me. I’m calm, quiet, and easy to love. I’m not much of a barker, and I get along wonderfully with all the other dogs I’ve met. I still have some things to learn about living inside a home, but I do seem to understand how to use a doggie door already. No one is quite sure yet how I do with kids or cats, but everyone agrees that I have a very gentle, loving demeanor. I’m already spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, so I’m all ready for my next adventure. My vet did say I have a grade I heart murmur, but I am otherwise healthy and you can read about heart murmurs at Heart Murmurs in Dogs and Cats - Veterinary Partner - VIN https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4952593&sx=316298060&n=1 My adoption fee is $500 please apply at www.adoggie4you.org. Due to my breed, I will need regular brushing and grooming.  Right now I’m in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Tawny! Tawny's story began with heartbreak. She and her sister were found living on the streets in absolutely horrible condition, neglected and struggling to survive. Despite everything she endured, Tawny has remained one of the sweetest, most loving dogs you'll ever meet. This girl has a calm, gentle nature and seems to be mostly well-trained. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and people. Tawny loves the simple things in life—a soft dog bed, a cozy lap to curl up on, and spending time with her people.  Because Tawny's health and well-being are so important to us, she has received extensive veterinary care while in rescue. During her spay surgery, our veterinarian detected a Grade III/VI heart murmur. To ensure she received the best care possible, we proceeded with comprehensive bloodwork and a full echocardiogram. Her bloodwork came back completely normal, including a negative Chagas test. Her echocardiogram showed findings within normal limits, with all heart structures measuring normal size. The cardiologist noted that her risk of heart failure is considered low, with no masses or effusions present. A sinus arrhythmia was recorded on the ECG, but overall her cardiac evaluation was very reassuring. At this time, there are no further testing/diagnostics to be done.  Tawny is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention and Bravecto flea and tick prevention. We have not yet tested Tawny with cats or children, so those situations are currently unknown.  The adoption fee for Tawny is $500. To apply, please visit www.adoggie4you.org. Tawny is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $225 transport fee.
