DOB: 11/02/2022Weight: 10.4 lbsSex/Breed: Spayed female Bichon FriseRescued From: Breeding kennelErin and her sister, Kaillie, came to All 4 Paws from a breeding kennel after they were no longer wanted for puppy-producing purposes. The transition from kennel to couch has been scary for Erin, but she is doing her best to be brave. It’s clear she desperately wants to trust – slowly approaching her foster mom to give sweet kisses on her hand when she is feeling safe. Watching her relax and dance around when she is excited has been such a joy!! Erin is looking for a calm environment and an understanding family that will give her the time and space she needs to settle in. She’ll need a home with a resident dog to learn from and she gets along with cats too. Training is a work in progress, but her foster mom is focusing on building her trust and confidence. Having a secure space for potty breaks will help for sure. We just adore this little peanut and can’t wait to watch her flourish in her forever home… could that be yours?? River is a tiny 6-year-old Bichon weighing about 13 pounds. She was surrendered to us along with two other dogs when she was considered no longer useful as a breeder momma. Pringle is a 3‑month‑old, 5‑lb Bichon/Poodle mix who came to us from a commercial breeder after he couldn’t be sold — all because he’s missing one of his back paws. But don’t tell him that. Pringle has no idea he’s any different, and he approaches life with nothing but joy, confidence, and love. This tiny fluff is fun, social, affectionate, and absolutely adores everyone he meets. His tail never stops wagging, and he greets every person like they’re his new best friend. Despite his physical difference, he’s active, happy, and getting around just fine. He does walk with a little limp, but honestly, it only adds to his charm. Right now, Pringle is perfectly okay just the way he is. As he grows, though, his family will need to keep a close eye on his developing leg. Tianna is a sweetie. She is on the shy side but enjoys spending time with other dogs in small dog play-groups. She also will wag her tail and come up to our volunteers for some loving. Dorrito is a 3‑month‑old red Bichon / mini poodle mix who came to us from a Lancaster breeder after he couldn’t be sold. What the breeder saw as a flaw, we see as a puppy overflowing with joy, sweetness, and endless potential. Dorrito is a happy, social, cuddly little fellow who adores everyone he meets. He loves being held, playing gently, and soaking up attention. His spirit is bright, affectionate, and incredibly endearing. But Dorrito does have something important for his future family to know: he has been diagnosed with a grade 5 heart murmur. Right now, we don’t know exactly what this will mean for him long‑term. Heart murmurs in puppies can be unpredictable— ✨ Some dogs improve as they grow ✨ Others remain the same ✨ Some may require lifelong medication or monitoring ✨ And in some cases, the condition can be life‑limiting Because Dorrito is still so young and small, it’s simply too early to know which path his heart will take.
