Story
Axel has the potential to be a great dog! He is way too rambunctious for our older dog and they don’t get along (the other dog mostly avoids him). He loves to play and loves being outside. We are pregnant with our third baby and have an infant with disabilities and unfortunately do not have the time or resources to train or give much attention to Axel.

Story
adoption donation : $499 weight 50 lbs Age  3 years        Layne is a beautiful 3-year-old, 50 lb golden pup who came to us pretty timid and scared of the world but has since gained a lot of confidence. She wants to be loved and give love in return. Layne lives with other dogs, kids and a baby. She is a sweetheart and a quiet girl—she is the only dog in the house who does not bark at the mailman!    Layne loves to run in the yard and watch the birds fly by so a fenced yard is preferred. She adores loves playing fetch and treat time. She loves romping around the yard with her four-legged foster brothers and would love a canine companion! Layne does well with senior dogs as well.      Layne also has a foster brother, Puddles, who is her very best buddy so if an adopter  was potentially looking for two dogs they would be a perfect pair!       Layne is the quintessential family dog, she is gentle and loving and will make a wonderful member of the family.     For more information on adopting Layne please email   ramellakwolek@gmail.com    June 22, 2025, 7:29 am

Story
**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!** Name: Oscar Breed: Blackmouth Cur Mix Sex/Age/Weight: Male/estimate DOB 11/2022/ around 50 lbs and I am full grown Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventatives House trained/Crate Trained: In progress Dogs/Cats/Children: Oscar has not been tested with cats or children yet, but can be tested upon request. Oscar has had very controlled interactions with other dogs and seems to enjoy other high energy breeds Energy Level: High- I am a very athletic dog who loves to run and play Before FAR/My History: I wandered up to somebody’s house on 3/11/2024. I had been spotted the week before getting into the neighbors’ trash at night because I was a hungry pup. I couldn’t stay there because of their older dog who is very sick, but they put me in this program and I get to stay and play with 3 other foster dogs. Training Status/Commands I know: Sit and touch the open hand to get a treat/food instead of leaping for the food Working on: Everything Things I like: Playtime, especially with another dog who is as energetic as I am. My running buddy is another FAR foster Sheila aka Havoc. I like to chase her when she has a toy, and I also like to be chased when I have a toy. Things I don’t like: I don’t like to be left out, especially if another dog runs by and I see them playing. Things that make my humans happy: My endless energy. I am always down to play, run, fetch, etc. And when it is time to rest, I like to snuggle and get chest scratches. Ideal Family/Home: Because of my energy and drive, I think I would like a home without cats or small dogs. I love playing with Sheila aka Havoc because she is my size and matches my energy, so I think a mid-size, young female dog would be a perfect playmate for me. If you are interested in giving Oscar a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer. As the runt, she may have started life small, but she’s growing into a beautiful girl with an even bigger heart. Now around 40 pounds, Kyra has blossomed into a sweet, snuggly, and curious companion—just like her mom, Sunny. She loves affection, enjoys exploring the world around her, and is always ready to cuddle up after a day of adventures. Kyra’s mom, Sunny, weighs around 45 pounds, though her dad is unknown, so her adult size is an estimate. Kyra is good with other dogs and cats too!
