Ask Bailey to go for a walk, and she will wag her tail and say yes. Ask her to go for a run, a hike, jump up and down, take a nap, same tail wag, same answer. This 1.5-year-old Black Mouth Cur mixed breed gal is up for anything her family can suggest. She has a high energy level a family that can keep up with her activity level would do wonders for her. She is ready to live life fast and free with one adventure after the other. Bailey was actually on the euthanasia list at a high kill shelter when she was rescued and given a new lease on life. She is full grown at 32 pounds. She is very loyal and loving, knows how to have lots of fun with dogs and children, and is housetrained. It is not known if Bailey extends her happy go lucky nature to felines.Bailey is learning her leash manners. It is important to remember that even housetrained rescue dogs can have potty accidents and need refresher lessons on known manners when adjusting to a new home environment. She is also crate trained and if crate training is planned, Bailey requires a crate that is large enough for her to turn around and lie down in. Crates should be warm, inviting places for dogs to rest and relax in, and must never be used for punishment. So many unwanted dogs never get a chance at a new life and Bailey, one of the lucky ones, cannot believe her good fortune.
