Murphy is an affectionate and caring companion! She is extremely smart (can learn anything with a little treat motivation :) and likes to be both gently petted and enthusiastically greeted. She is a calm dog and will be a consistent source of company throughout the day and calmly let you know she needs to go out with the boop of her wet nose. She likes a quiet and calm environment and a lot of new and foreign noises and consistent activity make her a bit anxious. She can tolerate little kids but certainly prefers older kids and adults. She will thrive in an environment that is predictable and quiet (not a ton of construction or continuous traffic or neighbors/cars/etc.). She is mostly quiet but will give a protective bark if she hears a strange sound or sees a stranger dog in her sightlines. She will greet new friends (dogs and people) with energetic curiosity though won't jump up - just curious sniffing and bids for pets and attention. She doesn't need constant attention and can do well for long periods on her own. She has been very well trained and is so excited to bring her love and companionship to a new home!

He loves to get up in my chair with me and fall into my arms for snuggles. He loves to play frisbee and fetch, and to be outside running. He loves car rides and our garage-saling trips on Saturdays. He sleeps in the bed with me and our cat and is a perfect bedmate. He's a brainiac and can open doors, so heads up. He loves his cat sister and shares his food and space with her really nicely.Teddy got a very rough start in life and as a result has some challenges. I believe they are workable, but require someone with time and resources that I do not have.

She is housetrained and LOVES her crate for down time and sleeping.Rosita is currently fostered in a home with two older dogs (ages 7 and 8). While she has adjusted well to living with her two canine companions, she may do best as an only dog or in a home with an experienced dog owner.Rosita experiences leash reactivity outside the home that she is currently working on with the support of a behavior plan and is showing the beginnings of some ability to control and redirect her “big feelings”.Rosita will require a home that can provide her with continued work on her behaviors, a home with the time and patience to give her the engagement and training that her young and active mind needs. She loves her plush toys and benebones, and has never chewed up furniture or items not meant for her chewing. She loves games and snuffle puzzles.Rosita is a wonderful loving girl (she still loves to sit in your lap and bring you her toys) who would make a great companion as long as her behavior needs met.
