"If you're sitting on the couch long enough, Franklin will eventually either climb up to sleep next to you, or sit on the floor by you, stare at you and just rest a single paw on your lap or arm," says Franklin's previous owner. Bullseye is two years old, approximately 75 lbs, male, and an absolute UNIT of a dog. Despite his muscular build and size, he is the epitome of a gentle giant and wants nothing more than to cuddle with you. He'll patiently allow me to put him in Christmas sweaters and outfits, and would make a great companion to a young girl or boy who loves to play dress up. He's no saint, though...As a food motivated pup, Bullseye will steal your sandwich without batting an eye. A regular Yogi Bear! Bullseye has a LOT of personality, and from what I've seen so far, it's goofy, sweet, and gentle. Bullseye really wants to please his owners, but doesn't quite know what is being asked of him yet and will eagerly wiggle and whine until he figures something out. So far, he knows "sit", "no", and "down." He will need a family that has the time to train him. We think Bullseye would make a great family dog with older kids; he seems to be fearful around smaller children. Or maybe a "just for show" guard dog. He is submissive with other dogs, and is indifferent to the other two dogs in the house. He's also pretty quiet and lazy!

This stunning girl was picked up as a stray, severely underweight, and although she is gaining weight, she has a way to go. Sunny has so far been a very quiet, calm and slightly timid dog, quicker to trust the female members of staff than the male, but she lets everyone get a leash on her if they take enough treats and speak softly. Once Sunny Miami is off leash in one of our play yards her spunky personality comes out! She gets the zoomies and enjoys playing fetch but she has learned how to bring the toy back. We have still not heard her bark. Sunny was in a foster home with three kids and three other dogs, and here's what her foster family say about her: "We absolutely LOVE having Sunny with us, she is a truly beautiful soul. She settled right in when we brought her home, she definitely enjoys being part of a family. Sunny likes being close to people and she follows us everywhere- she especially adores our kids! She is very submissive & respectful with our big farm dogs, and she plays nicely with her PAWS foster sister (sweet little Liffey). Sunny is housebroken, kennel trained, and has a strong desire to please. She is highly intelligent and is quickly learning basic commands. This sweet girl deserves a loving family of her own... come meet her, and fall completely in love!"
