He is both house-trained and crate-trained—in fact, his crate is his happy place! When left alone, he prefers the security of his kennel, and even when his humans are home, he often chooses to relax there with the door open. This lovable senior does well on a leash and would thrive in a quiet, low-energy home with a patient adopter who understands that he needs time to adjust. While he hasn't been around young children, his gentle nature suggests he would be great with them. We don’t know how he is with cats, but he gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Eli is new to us, so we’re currently getting to know him and are sharing helpful information provided by his previous home and the shelter. This friendly, loving pup enjoys meeting new people and has a way of making fast friends wherever he goes. Eli is housetrained and already knows commands like sit and stay, which shows how eager he is to connect and learn with his people.
