Story
Flash is almost 2 yrs old. We got him from a shelter with his brother; however, his brother did not make it due to Parvo. Flash is great on walks (but needs someone strong to hold onto him), great with other dogs, and great with people. He is also a pure love bug and loves to snuggle. He will let you love on him nonstop. He can be a bit food aggressive and still has a bit of a biting problem when playing. Loves chasing a ball or playing tug. He knows "bed" (will go to bed and sit), "sit"; "down", "up", "paw", and "come" still need a little work (bloodhounds are known to be a bit stubborn!). We would prefer someone with a home with room to take him, an apartment will just be too small.

Story
Maddie’s DNA results are in! According to Wisdom Panel, she’s a mix of four breeds, with Bloodhound and German Shepherd as her top two. At 2 years old and 60 pounds, this sweet girl is ready to find her forever home. Maddie loves playing with other dogs and would do best in a home with a large, playful companion who matches her energetic play style. She is potty trained and kennel trained, though she’s not the biggest fan of her kennel, so a home where someone is around most of the time would be ideal. She’s a strong girl and needs an experienced adopter—she’s currently working with a trainer to improve her leash skills. Maddie adores every person she meets, but because of her size and strength, any children in the home should be at least 7 years old and steady on their feet. She would never knock a child over on purpose, but she doesn’t always realize how big she is. No cats! If you’re interested in adopting Maddie, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a home check *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org      Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee      Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2088340##

Ginger is a big bundle of fun. If you like hounds, you will love her. No cats should be in her home, she might look for their squeaker. She is half way through her heartworm treatment which is covered by us. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). Story
Meet Reese! She's a sweet happy girl with a lot of love to give. Reese is good with kids, cats, other dogs, and all people. She loves to play with her giant rope toy and lets out one big 'ruff!' when she needs to go out or is ready to come in. She loves a big dog bed or a nap on the couch. I met Reese on my first day volunteering at the animal shelter. She had been there an entire year sleeping on the cold concrete floor. (She was surrendered by someone who loved her.) Reese is a plot hound. I believe she went unadopted because she looks like a Rottweiler or pit bull. When we met four-year-old Reese, she was skinny and limping. Two years later, she's chubby and happy. When the weather is bad you can tell she hurts a bit, but it doesn't keep her from being happy. (She reminds me of me, lol.) She does have hip issues that are managed with periodic medication. It is heartbreaking that we find ourselves in a position to rehome her due to personal issues, but we are hopeful she will find the forever home she truly deserves. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Reese, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org. Story
Meet Moonshine - a gentle, soulful 6-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound mix who is looking for the place where she truly belongs. When she trotted into my life, she came with the sweetest eyes and a heart full of trust. She loves the simple joys, stretching out on the couch next to her person, rolling over for belly rubs at any opportunity, and offering her paw for a perfect little shake when she knows a treat is coming. Give her a dog bone and sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll happily show off every trick she knows. Outdoors is where her spirit comes alive. She loves feeling the breeze during a walk, exploring new trails, or running with that joyful, floppy-eared trot that only hounds can pull off. And when the day winds down, she just wants to curl up beside someone who makes her feel safe. But as much love as she gives, she struggles with other dogs. I gave her time, patience, and every chance to adjust, hoping things would get better. I wanted so much for it to work. But her heart is happiest when she doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t have to share her space, with no other dogs to worry about, just her and her person. Thatâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s why, with a heavy heart but a lot of hope for her future, Iâ&#194&#128&#194&#153m looking for a home where she can finally be someoneâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s one and only. She hasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t been around kids, so an adult household would be best for her comfort. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s house trained, spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and ready for a fresh start. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s ready to give all the love she has to someone who will be her soft place to land. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re looking for a loyal companion with a tender heart - one who will greet you with warmth, trust you completely, and be at your side through every moment, Moonshine is waiting to meet you. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Moonshine, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org. Story
Barney and Odie were at a local shelter  because their owner did not want them and their days there were just too long. They are both so very cute and sweet.  Odie is about 3 years old and only weighs 32 lbs. The shelter said he definitely is a "cuddle bug"   He was, surrendered to a local shelter on 9/4 with his brother, Barney, because they were not wanted. He was in the shelter for 55 days and we saw his adorable face and just had to rescue him. He is 3 to 4 yrs old and weighs 35 lbs. He is a perfect Medium size! He is a tail-wagging confident boy with an inquisitive nature. He is extremely sweet natured and amiable. He craves attention and love when he gets it. He is active and alert, yet not overwhelming with his energy level. He is crazy about treats and though does not know to sit for them yet, he is able to catch treats in his mouth which is pretty cool. Seems like he has never had toys and he doesn't seem to know what they are.  He prefers to hang out with his humans.  Odie would seem a good fit for a laid-back household. He dreams of a home in which he lives inside spending time with family, cuddling, and hanging out together.  Favorite This Pet ##2565793##
