Lola was rescued from a local shelter and now her owner has to give her up to no fault of her own. She is a gorgeous, sweet girl. She is great with small dogs and seems a bit timid with large dogs but we think she would be fine in time as she gets to know them. She is obedient and aims to please. She is about 9 months old, Jan. 2024, and weighs 50 lbs. ##1623586##

Shadow is a 1.5 year old hunting hound she has a huge story before and after her rescue with a very large following. She loves other dogs and seeks them out. She would do best in a home with another well behaved young active dog. She's been known to run but getting better and she currently wears a tracking device on her collar. She opens up pretty quickly but is very scared and shy without another dog . She was emaciated and on the run when rescued. She is now gaining weight and beautiful. Daisy is a love! She has boundless energy and love to give. She is a little over one year old. We do not have the time she will need for more intensive training. She needs a family who has the time to help her get her energy out every day. We have realized we are not able to give enough to her, and we are hoping to find someone who can. We have two other dogs, and she has been just fine with them. She loves to play with them and bark at the trash truck with them. We had a cat until he died, and she was very aware to leave him be. Daisy is crate trained and doesn’t have accidents. She can’t be left to roam the house, or she will chew things up. She is sweet with all ages of people, but is unaware of her body around smaller kids, and can come crashing through knocking littles over. We are sure she could learn, but again, we aren’t the ones to teach her.

We have unexpectedly found ourselves fostering this very sweet boy and are in urgent need of a loving home for him. We are located in Dallas, where the animal shelters are currently overwhelmed (DAS is operating at over 160% capacity). Because of the high euthanasia risk in local shelters, we are committed to keeping him safe and out of any kill shelter. We are loving pet parents ourselves and have been doing everything we can to care for him, but due to our current work schedules and lifestyle, and two large dogs in our home, we are not able to provide the level of fostering and attention he truly deserves long-term. He is fully vaccinated and has been treated/preventatively cared for medically. We can provide all vet records. We are actively networking through every avenue we can because he truly is a wonderful dog. We genuinely believe that with the right home, love, and attention, he will make someone incredibly happy.

Jaida will be 12 years old at the beginning of July, she still has some good years left in her. She enjoys walks/ hikes and occasionally playing fetch with a ball. Her favorite thing is sunbathing in the yard if someone is with her, or a quiet, comfortable space of her own inside to lounge. She is a true companion dog. Being outside alone can cause anxiety if she hears a scary noise like thunder, etc. She can be described as highly intelligent, charming, diva, princess. She is a great dog for someone that has NO KIDS and preferably no other pets. She does well with big dogs that are calm but is used to being an only child. She has urinary incontinence that cannot be fully treated with medication nor surgery. So, she wears diapers inside. Please contact me for more info if you think you can be a good match or would like to set up a trial stay/ meet and greet. We have loved Jaida her whole life. We are looking for the right person to love her for the rest.
