Story
We got buddy from a family in Indiana that fostered him and his brother from the same litter. He is a great dog, loves other dogs, cats, rabbits, kids and people. We previously lived on a farm in Indiana and he had plenty of room to run but we have relocated and are now in a neighborhood with a small yard that is not fenced. He is a blue-tick coonhound and definitely loves to be outside sniffing around. He would love a family that has a fenced yard for him to play in. He is housebroken, is up to date on all of his shots as of October, is neutered and is almost 6 years old.

Bear is 1/2 bloodhound, 1/4 Cane Corso and 1/4 Great Pyrenees. He was raised with kids of all ages, he is great with cats and other dogs. He is extremely affectionate, he loves people and kids! He is completely house trained. He does have a bit of energy for the giant that he is, pictures don't do him justice, he is a big boy at 120 lb. He loves to play ball and run. He is extremely intelligent and can open all lever handles on your household doors. He is crate trained as well. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He will be 3 years old in December.

Angel came to us after her previous guardian passed away and she is now looking for a new home for her next chapter. She was primarily an outdoor dog in her other home, so she is looking forward to a spoiled life as an indoor companion! Angel lived with another dog previously, but wants to be the only dog in her next home, so we are requiring a home without other dogs at this time. Tony is a handsome pup that is looking for a home where he can get lots of walks, play with toys, and play tug o` war! Tony can sometimes be a bit reserved when meeting new people, but once he`s gotten a few snacks (no chicken, please!) he`s putty in your hands! He loves to romp and chase toys, but you`ll be the one doing the fetching - it`s worth it to see him be so goofy and chase the toy! He loves to give licks on the face and really won`t stop until you ask him to. After he`s all tuckered out, a good snuggle is all Tony wants. In his previous home, Tony enjoyed training and has learned many cues like laying on his bed while his humans ate, staying out of the kitchen, and walking very politely on leash. He can`t wait to learn more and find adventure with his new family! At this time, HSBV will only rehome him to a family without children or with children over the age of 10. Tony has enjoyed playing with other pups here at the shelter, but to help ensure it`s a good fit, we are also requiring a doggie meet-and-greet if entering a multi-dog home. Our team describes Tony as: clever, independent, and athletic!
