Story
We have a sweet, healthy, 5-year-old male Bluetick Hound that we have loved and owned for nearly 4 years. While he is a wonderful companion indoors, we have realized that our suburban residential environment is no longer a safe or sustainable fit for his high prey drive and scent-hound instincts. He is fully vaccinated and healthy. He's great with dogs who are his size or bigger. He is not good with smaller animals. He is good with kids and adults. He is a great snuggle and needs room to run and chase and sing. The adoption fee will be donated to a local shelter.

Story
This sweet 9-year-old boy is the total package - loyal, goofy, and happiest right by your side. Ozlo loves walks, playing fetch, and then relaxing near his people once he has gotten his daily exercise in. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and knows commands like sit, stay, lay down, fetch, and even “sit up”! Ozlo does well with other dogs and older kids. He has some mild herding tendencies (he just likes to keep track of his people 😊), and he would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can safely run and play. He’s truly a companion dog - whether you’re on the couch or moving around the house, Ozlo will be right there with you. Ozlo is being rehomed due to a decline in his owner’s health - this is not his fault. He is a loving, wonderful dog who deserves a stable, caring home where he will be safe, loved, and part of the family. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend and can provide a fenced yard, daily exercise, and and lots of love, Ozlo may be your perfect match. 🩵
