Story
Olive is our stunning, mama kitty. She came to us with her handsome boys Calvin and Hobbs and an adorable little girl, Arya, who she adopted. Olive is new to our group so she is still acclimating. She appears to be a princess cat to us right now. She really likes attention and she is very friendly and outgoing. We are testing her with other cats if you are a one cat person, she would be a good choice. A lovely, pleasant personality. Please fill out an application on our website at www.hucatrescue.org. Thank you! PLEASE JOIN US THIS SUNDAY, DEC. 7TH AT PETCO, 188 KITTS LANE IN NEWINGTON. WE WILL BE ON THE NORTH SHORE ANIMAL LEAGUE VAN SO YOU CAN MEET OUR BEAUTIFUL RESCUES. THE HOURS ARE FROM 1:00-3:00 P.M. PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE IN PREPARATION FOR THE EVENT. THANK YOU!

Story
Please meet Cole. This very friendly and loving fella loves to play. He is black with a white patch under his chin and 3 white toes on his back left foot. After a play session all he wants is some affection and to lay on your lap for a nap. He was born in March of 2024. He has been neutered & is up to date on his vaccinations. This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Meet Petunia! Adoption fee: $249 Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 It was a busy day at a local warehouse when an employee heard the softest little mews coming from inside a stack of pallets. When they looked closer, they found not one, not two… but NINE kittens tucked safely inside! They immediately called our rescue for help, and we brought all these little ones to safety. These kittens appear to be three small groups, likely born at different times, but all found together in the pallets. They’re all healthy, thriving, and absolutely adorable. We have all different colors and personalities—something for everyone! These sweethearts can be adopted in pairs, and we’re happy to help you choose the perfect match based on age, personality, and what you’re looking for. If you’re ready to add a pair of warehouse-cuties to your family, reach out to us! We’d love to tell you more about each one and help you find your perfect kittens. They would thrive in homes where they’ll get plenty of love, attention, and companionship. Adopting in pairs is highly encouraged so they’ll always have a buddy to play and snuggle with, but they can also be adopted individually to a home with another friendly cat. Apply today to give one (or more!) of these sweethearts the forever family they deserve. Fill out an application today and bring home your new best friend—or adopt a pair for double the love! We do offer a discount when adopting more than one pet. We have many adorable kittens to choose from—click our Petfinder link to see the full lineup and find your perfect match: https://www.petfinder.com/search/pets-for-adoption/?shelter_id%5B0%5D=AL450&sort%5B0%5D=recently_added We would love to see these kittens adopted in pairs, as they’re closely bonded and would thrive with a sibling by their side. Having a feline friend can be incredibly beneficial for their social and emotional well-being, providing comfort and support throughout their lives. All pets are microchipped, and the registration fee paid for lifetime. Please copy and paste the following URL for the adoption application: https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you. The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter. PDAR.info@gmail.com COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption. If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement. We DO NOT adopt to anyone under the age of 21

Story
Meet Colette, Adoption fee - $249 Adoption application - copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Colette’s story started out a little rough—she was caught in a trap with a group of feral cats, spayed, and released back outside. But the kind people who fed her noticed something wasn’t right—she wasn’t eating and was losing weight fast. A caring Good Samaritan scooped her up and brought her to the vet, and that’s when her true personality shined through. Colette is not feral at all—she’s one of the friendliest kittens you could ever meet! She absolutely loves attention, seeks out people, and is so grateful for kindness. She’s also strikingly beautiful, with unique brown highlights shimmering through her black fur, making her stand out even more. Colette is thriving now in a foster home with several other kittens. Emily is her BFF. This sweet girl deserves a forever home where she’ll never be overlooked again. Colette is proof that sometimes the most wonderful companions are found in the unlikeliest places. Could she be your new best friend? Fill out an application today and bring home your new best friend—or adopt a pair for double the love! We do offer a discount when adopting more than one pet. Story
Meet Licorice! Licorice is a loving, timid 4-month-old girl with a gentle heart and a big desire to bond with her person. She adores her cat donut bed and happily entertains herself with toys, but her favorite place is stretched out on your lap soaking up all the love she can get.   She’s not a fan of taking medicine, but with a little patience—and laying her gently on her back—she will take it without a fuss. Licorice needs someone who understands cat behavior and can help her blossom at her own pace.  Her fur is soft like velvet!   With consistency and affection, Licorice will grow into an incredibly loyal and loving companion. She just needs someone willing to earn her trust—and she’ll give her whole heart in return. ##2587548##
