ROSCOE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED! This is Roscoe.  You have a chance to adopt your very own panther.  He was rescued as a newborn at only a couple of days old.  He is very affectionate and playful. The perfect work-from-home companion kitty.  He loves to play and loves all cat toys and is definitely loads of fun. He would do well as a family kitty and loves all other kitties, cat-friendly dogs, and kids. He is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.  The adoption fee of $295 also includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring him up north once he is adopted. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an online application using this link: http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net.   Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by an NBAR Volunteer. THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 7, 2025, 1:35 pm

Story
If you would like an application or have any questions, please send an email to us at: info@ht-ac.org Alex was rescued from the basement of an apartment building in Hartford, where she was abandoned by her owner who had nowhere to live. She is currently in a foster home in Glastonbury. Alex is a tripod and is missing her right hind leg. It doesn’t slow her down one bit, though! When not in a hurry, she mostly gets around with casual little hops, but she can put in short spurts of speed and has no problem jumping up to her favorite spot on the couch, as you can see in the video. Alex is a very friendly kitty, and settles in after a pretty short adjustment. She absolutely lives for attention and deserves to be doted on and loved by her very own persons. This will be no hardship as she purrs like a diesel engine and she has super soft and plush fur. She just stares at you as you pet her, like she can’t believe she got so lucky that you’re in her life. She is quite talkative, and is very interested in you and your daily life. She also enjoys a little alone time in cozy pet beds or perched where she can stare out a window. She has suffered some type of trauma in the past, and so now she shines best when in a calm, quiet environment. She’s also a little defensive when sharing space with other animals, and will likely be most successful as an only pet. She is 2 years old, and has been spayed, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Story
This kitty absolutely loves to purr and will start rumbling the moment you give them attention. He is very food crazy and never miss mealtime, but that just adds to their charm. Overall, he is very good, well-behaved cat who enjoys companionship and a cozy place to relax. In a new home, looking for someone who will appreciate a cuddly , affectionate cat and does mind mind an enthusiastic appetite. Adjectives I use to describe my cat are: loving, playful, chatty, food motivated, and sweet-natured.

Story
Octavia is the princess of purring and love! THERAPY SWEET - THROWN FROM MOVING CAR!! Our fosters are have so many kittens are now big enough to be adopted. They are anywhere from 8 to 10 wks old so ALL are TOO SMALL TO GO as SOLO pets to a home UNLESS u already have a young cat in your home - so have to be paired up. They are absolutely the sweetest and simply some of the cutest and prettiest kitties ever! Octavia - this 8-10 wk old angel is one of our rescues favs for SOOO many reasons. First, she was seen being thrown out of a moving car on a highway and thankfully someone stopped - her leg was injured but luckily nothing life altering. Despite the fact someone did that she LOVES ALL PEOPLE UNCONDITIONALLY - sweetest of the sweet. Loves kids dogs cats EVERYONE. Doesn't get any better than this cutie! Aidan, Bridget, Kit and Dierdre and their bff Tigress - these 8 wk beauties are amazing fluffballs and wow are they fun - some medium to long haired which makes us think Siberian (but we do not believe in DNA testing FYI) while they could be other breed mixes - no matter what each is INCREDIBLY CUDDLY and wow gorgeous and in person u will not be able to put them down as they do non stop biscuits AND hugs AND kisses! These babies were all fostered in a wonderful home after they were abandoned in KY at a high kill shelter and then cared for by our incredible NY and KY foster teams! They are all friendly and fun and great for any family - they seem fine with kids and should be fine with other gentle cats and with a gentle dog. They are incredibly affectionate, super snuggly, and simply the most purrfect kitties! Again ALL of these babies are TOO SMALL to go solo so u must have another young cat in the home or adopt in pairs. All kittens no matter what age, do not grow up with the best behaviors without another cat to help them esp during their tween months. ADOPTERS UNDER THE AGE OF 23 MUST HAVE A PARENT OR GUARDIAN APPLY We do NOT test for hypoallergenic qualities or exact breeds as we are a rescue so also please do not ask! If you are allergic, then prepare for 20 yrs of an allergy if the cat you adopt causes issues... If you want to apply - please go to https://rnrpets.org/cat-application/ to be approved. If you have additional questions please contact us via email at rocknrescue1@gmail.com. They are all fully vetted spayed neutered per age and vaccinated tested FIV FELV neg had preventatives and microchipped. And ready for love! They are also available to adopters from out of state in the Northeast and is located here in Bedford Hills NY! Long distance adopters must pick up here sorry no shipping or delivering!

Story
Mittens is sooo darn special and OMG cute! VIDEO OF THIS GREEN EYED THERAPY LOVER Older kittens, Momma and Young Adult cats make some of our best therapy snuggle buddies. They tend to think of their humans as an extended part of their mothering duties and these beauties are all incredible. Gorgeous supermodels but with hearts of gold. Let's talk about them individually: Maya and Missy - these twin sisters are 2yr old angels made for cuddles n' kisses. They love to be held, snuggled 24/7 and even give kisses. Our fav is that they do walking head boops - they just cannot stop their happiness and u will find they are both going to be your joy too! Can be separated or can go together! Missy loves to head boop and is great for all families - cat experienced or not. Mittens - this 18-24m tummy rubbin' snuggle puss is EXCEPTIONAL in every way. Not only is he an epic lover, but he is just the friendliest goofiest funniest boy around. LOVES dogs LOVES kids LOVES other cats. He is the best of the best and any family adopting will know they hit the jackpot!! Possible therapy cat for the right family too! Pablo - 6 m old Tuxie Van mix - boy oh' boy do we love this boy! His brother is already adopted as a therapy cat and is SHINING and we know he will do the same. Friendly happy cat dog with no 'tude except love! Story
Meet Tulip – A Quiet Beauty Ready to Bloom 🌷 Tulip is a stunning, independent girl who is learning the comforts of indoor life one day at a time. Though people can still be a little scary, she’s beginning to enjoy gentle affection and will even seek out a scratch or two when she’s feeling safe. She has a calm, observant nature and prefers to take her time getting to know new surroundings. Tulip coexists peacefully with dogs and isn’t afraid to set polite boundaries when needed. She would thrive in a patient, low-key home where she can adjust at her own pace and continue to grow in confidence. Tulip is being fostered in Madison, AL and will be spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption. If you're looking for a quiet, low-maintenance companion and have a heart for giving a shy cat the time she needs to trust, Tulip may be your perfect match. 💻 Apply to adopt on our website 📧 Questions?
