She is currently in a foster home in Glastonbury. Alex is a tripod and is missing her right hind leg. It doesn’t slow her down one bit, though! When not in a hurry, she mostly gets around with casual little hops, but she can put in short spurts of speed and has no problem jumping up to her favorite spot on the couch, as you can see in the video. Alex is a very friendly kitty, and settles in after a pretty short adjustment. She absolutely lives for attention and deserves to be doted on and loved by her very own persons. This will be no hardship as she purrs like a diesel engine and she has super soft and plush fur. She just stares at you as you pet her, like she can’t believe she got so lucky that you’re in her life. She is quite talkative, and is very interested in you and your daily life. She also enjoys a little alone time in cozy pet beds or perched where she can stare out a window. She has suffered some type of trauma in the past, and so now she shines best when in a calm, quiet environment. She’s also a little defensive when sharing space with other animals, and will likely be most successful as an only pet. She is 2 years old, and has been spayed, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Please meet Cole. This very friendly and loving fella loves to play. He is black with a white patch under his chin and 3 white toes on his back left foot. After a play session all he wants is some affection and to lay on your lap for a nap. He was born in March of 2024. He has been neutered & is up to date on his vaccinations. This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. Hi, I’m Kirby! I’m a 1-year-old American Shorthair looking for a new home because my family is moving and can’t take me. I’m gentle and shy—I never scratch or bite people and run away when scared. Once I trust you, I become a cuddly “twisty noodle” who rolls around when you come home. I’m litter-box trained but need a clean home; if clothes are on the floor, I may pee on them. I tip over my bowls when food or water is low to remind you. I’m very affectionate once I settle in and love chatting, bird-watching, and being near my humans. I’d love a patient, tidy human who wants a sweet, loyal companion to grow with, someone who understands my sensitive nature and will give me the safe, warm home I deserve

Dora is a senior cat who has had more and more behavioral issues as he’s aged. Unfortunately he has feline stomatitis and I have been unable to get him the surgery he needs, and he was only on antibiotics for a bit. He is very food driven and WILL go after any food left anywhere but has trouble maintaining weight - he does not have hyperthyroidism. Unfortunately he has become too much for me to handle, I’ve loved him for 10 years but I am running out of patience and the funds to care for him appropriately and I know someone else can provide him a much better life for his remaining years. It breaks my heart to part from him but I think it’s for best. He loves warm spots and cuddling up to legs or pillows in bed. He also can be a bit vocal sometimes when he smells food! He responds to his name but can be a bit of a troublemaker. He has experience around other cats, but as he’s gotten older he seems to not enjoy playful cats and gets grumpy.
