Bombay kittens & cats in Forney, Texas

Jax, formerly known as Alec, is a handsome senior black Bombay/DSH gentleman that was born approximately 06/07/2013.    Jax was rescued with his sister, Rowen, from a local neighborhood when he was a kitten. Through NBCR, they were adopted into a loving home and lived together happily for over 10 years. Sadly,  Rowen has passed away and their human mom has recently moved into a full-time memory care living facility. As you can imagine, this has been a very stressful time for him, but once he was returned to us and got some much needed TLC, he has bounced right back. We hope to find him another loving home in which to live out his remaining golden years. Jax is the most loving, sweet boy! Although he is a senior, he plays like a kitten. He is curious and, literally, the sweetest boy his foster mom has ever met! He LOVES to chase the laser light and to play with his toys. He likes scratchers, but seems to favor the cheaper cardboard ones. He uses the litter box and has never had any accidents. When Jax came to us he didn't have many teeth, but that doesn't bother him at all. He is on a wet food diet and the vet says that's good since he needs to lose at least a pound! Added benefit - no unpleasant dental cleanings required! Jax purrs non-stop when he is around you and demands pets. His foster mom does not know how he would be with other cats or dogs, but he seems csurious about dogs. He does still scare easily, but if you can make him feel safe, he will be your best friend and warm very quickly. His foster mom says he is the perfect pet!  Jax is microchipped and currently in a foster home. His adoption fee is $105.March 21, 2025, 4:17 pm

🚨 FOUND: Friendly Black Cat – Royse City 🚨 A very friendly, talkative neutered male black cat has adopted us, but we must find him a NEW HOME as soon possible! He will have to go to a shelter! We believe he has an original owner, as he appears well cared for, has had some shots, and seems to miss his home. He loves attention and would likely do best as the only cat. We are actively searching for his owner, but no one has come forward. If this is your cat or you have any information, please contact us! They don’t get the attention they need, and its not fair to them. We got them from a coworker. Theyre about 3-4yrs old. They are brothers, and they are a bonded pair. (Neither one of them gets along with other cats, only each other). Good with dogs (they kinda just leave them alone.) They will come with litter, litter box, water and food bowl, and if you want it their big cat post.

Hi! My name is Midnight and I’m the purrfect little house panther!! There are lots of things that make me such a perfect little girl. For starters, I have sleek, shiny soft black fur. I’m would be an ideal pet for all the fashionistas out there who love to wear black clothing! (😹) I might do best in a home with a female vs a male human. I seem to be nervous around males according to my foster mom. Another reason I’m purrfect for you is that I have an adorable face and chubby little body. I look like I’m a British Short Hair mix which means I have a cute round face, button-like nose, plump body, and short little legs. I’m two years old but am a bit smaller than most young adult cats. I’m finished growing so I’ll likely be the same size the rest of my life.But, that’s enough about my looks because my personality is the real reason I’m the purrfect furbaby! I’m easy going and get along with other cats and dogs. My foster mom has seven cats and a dog of her own that I love to play with. But I dearly want to furparent who I can have all to myself. That’s because I form a deep bond with people who I get to know. So I long for a furparent who will be all mine. I’d be ideal in a home with one or two other pets or no other pets.Toy mice and jingly balls are my favorite things to play with. I snack on dry kibble throughout the day but really look forward to dinner time because my foster mom gives me a can of chunks and gravy cat food. The gravy is my favorite part. Afterwards, I clean my chops to show my appreciation. I really want you to know that I’m a happy girl and can adapt to new people, new pets, and new environments if you give me time. It will take me a day or two to get used to my new surroundings. But I’m trusting and loving once I realize I’m safe. I’m easy to care for and even easier to fall in love with.
