Story
Leah is a petite, loving girl who would make the perfect companion. She is about 6 months old (as of January) and 10 pounds. After spending a few months living on the streets, she was lovingly rescued and has fully embraced the cozy indoor cat life she always deserved. Leah is calm, cuddly, and affectionate. She spends much of her day curled up in her foster momâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s lap while she works, happily soaking up attention. Leah loves to be held and doted on, and she greets her people right away with the cutest little chirps whenever they enter the room. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, fully litter box trained, and respectful of furniture. Leah even often comes when you call her! She does great with children and is learning to feel more comfortable around other pets. While she mostly keeps to herself, she would do best as an only pet or with calm, respectful furry siblings who will give her time to warm up. Leah is truly a gentle soul who just wants love, comfort, and a family of her own. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s ready to find her forever home. Story
Chandler is solid black with beautiful gold eyes, like Bombays. He plays hard with his buddy Mousetro for short periods of time and then seeks out affection and cuddles from the foster mom. He is sweet and laid back. He would do well with someone who is home a lot. He hasn't been around dogs or young children. He has been best buddies with Mousetro since they were only weeks old, so we'd like to see them go to the same home. Chandler is currently in a foster home. If you have any questions, please email cowtownpets@gmail.com. If you are interested in applying to adopt Chandler & Mousetro, please submit an online application at cowtownpets.org. Chandler has been neutered and microchipped, shots are up-to-date, had wormer and flea prevention. The adoption fee for the pair is $170 + tax.

Story
Tres is a sleek, shiny black panther that loves to race across the room, chasing anything from a piece of lint to jumping in a box or leaping in the air to catch a shadow. He's very shy with people but is curious, affectionate and ready for back scratching when he sees me. Tres would do well in most homes, but his new people need to allow him time to adjust. He also might be more comfortable with another cat or small, friendly dog buddy. He is very independent, active and likes to interact with our rat terrier. He puts up with the periodic grooming sessions that the dog believes are needed (the dog thinks she's his groomer). Tres knows when it's chow time and races to the feeding line. He hasn't been exposed to children but would do well as long as they give him time to adjust. I believe he will be a cherished and beautiful pet for a family. Born 5/3/2024 Tres, his siblings and mama were discovered on a patio when the kittens were only a few weeks old. Water and food were put out for them but they were worried the dogs would kill them. They were trapped, neutered and socialized over a few weeks. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!

Story
Jenny is a beautiful 20 month old black kitty found on a VERY cold night after Thanksgiving last year (someone dumped her in a busy commercial area). This sweet girl will greet you at your door every time you come home. She is very chatty/chirpy and typically wants to follow you around your home to see what you’re up to. She is very curious and friendly with any two legged visitors. She LOVEs to play with her toys and laser mouse and often gets the zoomies. She will need a little time to get to know you and her new surroundings to establish trust. Once she feels safe, she will gradually want a little lap time or sit near you. She has a very good vocabulary and understands many words or gentle commands well. Due to other cats in our home, she’s not really been able to fully blossom and be the queen of the house. We can see steady progress but she would much happier being an only child.. She thrives in calm, quiet settings and would love a peaceful adult (also with older kids) home where she can relax and allow her guard to be down and be more of herself. Loud noises and other adult dogs or adult cats make her uncomfortable. She is looking for a patient, loving adopter who understands that good things take time. Once she trusts you, she’ll reward you with constant companionship and some very creative play and antics. If you’re ready to welcome a good hearted and very sensitive soul who’ll fill your home with joy… she is waiting to meet you. 🖤🐾She’s been spayed and shots are current. If you are interested in adopting please complete our online application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=lv2236&method=online_form_html&formid=43Adoption Fee is $100.00All kittens are fully vetted prior to being adopted, FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies Vaccines, FeLV / FIV Tested, Spayed / Neutered and Microchipped.
