Stella is an adorable DSH black female born approximately 5/20/2025. Stella and her foster brother, Astro, were rescued from being homeless. Thankfully a good Samaritan rescued her and asked NBCR for help in finding her the perfect home. Astro and Stella would prefer a fur-ever home where they can stay together if possible.    Stella is a petite little girl with a gorgeous silky black coat. Don’t let her size fool you though.  Even though they are the same age, Astro is much bigger than her, but that didn’t phase her one bit.  She is an energetic and inquisitive girl who enjoys chatting with you especially at mealtime, when greeting you, or wanting you to turn the faucet on to a slow drip for her drinking pleasure. She does enjoy playing a good game of fetch with her favorite toys. She frequently chases her brother around the room, playing and stealing whichever toy with which he is playing.  They both love tunnel toys, cardboard boxes, tissue paper and chasing wand toys or the laser. Ducky is a great kitty! We are looking to rehome him because of medical reasons (with the family, not him). He loves to be a lap cat! He is vocal, loving, and very agile. He would be a great addition to any home.

I’m an affectionate kitty with beautiful soft black fur, pretty green eyes, and tiny flecks of white that make me extra special. My journey started on a very cold night the day after Thanksgiving in a Costco parking lot. Where I bravely hopped into my foster family’s car.. and I’ve been with them ever since!At first, I was a bit shy and unsure about toys, but now I absolutely love playtime and constantly following my foster family around. I’m very smart, have a good vocabulary already and love to chat, and am always ready for a good conversation! I’m still learning boundaries—mainly that I don’t like being handled all the time. I enjoy love and attention on my terms but also like to do my own thing. Bob is a sweetheart and we love him so much, but he does not love our dog or our other cat so much anymore and has gotten to where he’s just seeming stressed out all the time lately from them. He was born in my home and is almost 4 years old (bday is in April). He plays fetch better than my dog (stretchy hair ties or bands work). He loves to snuggle. Takes a little bit of time to warm up, but is so sweet after. He tends to run and hide when we have people over and doesn’t love big crowds of people or noises, so ideally a quieter home would be better and I think he would do best as an only pet. It breaks my heart to rehome him and there will be tears, but as much as we love him and he loves us, I think he would be happier if he wasn’t so stressed all the time. Also he is not a huge fan of the automatic litter boxes. At least not the one I got. I want to find him a home where he is loved and can couch snuggle someone and get back to his happy stress-free self.
