Story
Jax is a handsome senior black Bombay/DSH gentleman that was born approximately 06/07/2013. He has gorgeous golden eyes.  Jax was rescued with his sister, Rowen, from a local neighborhood when he was a kitten. Through NBCR, they were adopted into a loving home and lived together happily for over 10 years. Sadly,  Rowen has passed away and their human mom has recently moved into a full-time memory care living facility. As you can imagine, this has been a very stressful time for him, but once he was returned to us and got some much needed TLC, he has bounced right back. We hope to find him another loving home in which to live out his remaining golden years. Jax is the most loving, sweet boy! Although he is a senior, he plays like a kitten. He is curious and, literally, the sweetest boy his foster mom has ever met! He LOVES to chase the laser light and to play with his toys. He also loves to watch the birds and squirrels outside the window. He likes scratchers, but seems to favor the cheaper cardboard ones. He uses the litter box and has never had any accidents. When Jax came to us he didn't have many teeth, but that doesn't bother him at all. He is on a wet food diet and the vet says that's good since he needs to lose at least a pound! Added benefit - no unpleasant dental cleanings required! Jax purrs non-stop when he is around you and demands pets. He doesn't seem to be a fan of dogs. His foster mom does not know how he would be with other cats. He does still scare easily, but if you can make him feel safe, he will be your best friend and warm very quickly. His foster mom says he is the perfect pet!  Jax is microchipped and currently in a foster home. His adoption fee is $105.June 12, 2025, 6:43 pm

Story
Hello, Luna is beautiful black cat with full of affection, curiosity, good-natured (gentle), shy and one sweet loving Kitty. She was found in my backyard when she was a baby and has been living near my house since then. She is about 2-2.5 years old, never had babies, spayed, vaccinated, about 5-6lbs or less. She is somewhat house trained because every once in a while when the weather is bad, she would come in through my window and take a nap in a corner of my office, then leaves few hours xxxx@xxxx.x breaks my heart because I know she wants to stay. Please adopt beautiful Luna and give her a chance to live in good loving home. No adoption fee is needed and I am willing to pay for extra fees as long as I can find a good home. Thank you.

Story
Meet Miau â&#194&#128&#194&#147 Your Future Cuddle Companion! Miau is a sleek, silky-coated black domestic shorthair with the biggest golden-green eyes and an even bigger heart. At just around 2 years old and weighing in at a petite 8 pounds, Miau is equal parts elegance and goofball charm. Her cutest quirk? She loves sprawling out dramatically across the floor in the middle of the room like sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s the queen of her castle â&#194&#128&#194&#147 and honestly, she is. Miau is on the shy side and can be easily startled by new or strange noises, but once she feels safe and gets comfortable with you, her sweet and snuggly nature shines. She was rescued as a stray and has blossomed into a loyal companion, now spayed and fully up to date on all her vaccines â&#194&#128&#194&#147 including rabies. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s also been given a clean bill of health by the vet! Miauâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s energy level is comfortably moderate â&#194&#128&#194&#147 she enjoys playtime with wand toys and the occasional zoomie, but sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s just as content to snooze near your feet or curl up on a soft blanket. Her favorite thing? Treats! The moment she hears the rustle of a treat bag, she comes running with adorable enthusiasm. Miau prefers to be the only pet in the home, as she enjoys a quieter environment where she can be the center of attention. While she hasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t lived with young children, she would likely do well with respectful older kids who understand feline boundaries. Miau would thrive best in a calm household with a patient adopter who can give her time to build trust, and in return, sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll reward you with gentle affection and devoted snuggles. This little queen is fully litterbox trained and very tidy. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s not crate-trained, but she travels well in a soft-sided carrier. While she doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t know any fancy tricks (yet!), her intelligence shows in how quickly she learns routines and adapts to her environment. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s incredibly in tune with her humans and will often meow softly to say hello or remind you itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s time for snacks. Her ideal home would be one where she can have a cozy window perch, minimal loud noises, and plenty of gentle companionship. Miau is being rehomed through no fault of her own â&#194&#128&#194&#147 due to a change in living circumstances, her human can no longer provide the stability she deserves. This sweet, affectionate cat will make a wonderful addition to a peaceful home looking for a quiet but loving feline friend. Miau is affectionate, gentle, and a joy to have around. Story
These are Remy and Ramen. They both are spayed females. Both have some vaccines. Remy is the black one. She is 4 years old. Ramen is Calico. She is 2 years old. The reason I am looking for a new home for them, is because I had a stroke in May and the situation has become stressing for me. It makes me very sad that I have to take these measurements. I actually have another female cat. She has become very nervous and has created conflict between them three. I had to put her in a room. Since she is the oldest, has had leg surgery, and is very shy, I want to keep her. And be able to let her out of her enclosure. I want to give the other two that have a big possibility to be adopted, the opportunity to become part of a very loving family. Both are very good with humans. They love to be petted and be around people. They can be taken together or individually. We are in Dallas area, by Balch Springs and Seagoville. Fee: $35

Story
Cat is gentle, but since was found outside, it might be scared of new things. She doesn’t really play since she’s a mother, but does take care of her kittens. I assume Onyx is three to five years old. I want her to find a home where she gets to feel more free with bigger space. She also enjoys catnip, but give a small amount. She also tends to loaf a lot around.

These pups are in Rowlett, Texas too!

Hi! This is Tux, also known as Tuxedo. He's still available. He's probably the most caring, cuddly cat I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. That's all he wants to do. Just sit in your lap and love on you. He's still less than a year old. I just want this little guy to go to a loving, caring, playful home!
