Story
Jax is a handsome senior black Bombay/DSH gentleman that was born approximately 06/07/2013. He has gorgeous golden eyes.  Jax was rescued with his sister, Rowen, from a local neighborhood when he was a kitten. Through NBCR, they were adopted into a loving home and lived together happily for over 10 years. Sadly,  Rowen has passed away and their human mom has recently moved into a full-time memory care living facility. As you can imagine, this has been a very stressful time for him, but once he was returned to us and got some much needed TLC, he has bounced right back. We hope to find him another loving home in which to live out his remaining golden years. Jax is the most loving, sweet boy! Although he is a senior, he plays like a kitten. He is curious and, literally, the sweetest boy his foster mom has ever met! He LOVES to chase the laser light and to play with his toys. He also loves to watch the birds and squirrels outside the window. He likes scratchers, but seems to favor the cheaper cardboard ones. He uses the litter box and has never had any accidents. When Jax came to us he didn't have many teeth, but that doesn't bother him at all. He is on a wet food diet and the vet says that's good since he needs to lose at least a pound! Added benefit - no unpleasant dental cleanings required! Jax purrs non-stop when he is around you and demands pets. He doesn't seem to be a fan of dogs. His foster mom does not know how he would be with other cats. He does still scare easily, but if you can make him feel safe, he will be your best friend and warm very quickly. His foster mom says he is the perfect pet!  Jax is microchipped and currently in a foster home. His adoption fee is $105.June 12, 2025, 6:43 pm

Story
These are Remy and Ramen. They both are spayed females. Both have some vaccines. Remy is the black one. She is 4 years old. Ramen is Carey. She is 2 years old. The reason I am looking for a new home for them, is because I had a stroke in May and the situation has become stressing for me. It makes me very sad that I have to take these measurements. I actually have another female cat. She has become very nervous and has created conflict between them three. I had to put her in a room. Since she is the oldest, has had leg surgery, and is very shy, I want to keep her. And be able to let her out of her enclosure. I want to give the other two that have a big possibility to be adopted, the opportunity to become part of a very loving family. Both are very good with humans. They love to be petted and be around people. They can be taken together or individually. We are in Dallas area, by Balch Springs and Seagoville. Fee: $35

Story
Cat is gentle, but since was found outside, it might be scared of new things. She doesn’t really play since she’s a mother, but does take care of her kittens. I assume Onyx is three to five years old. I want her to find a home where she gets to feel more free with bigger space. She also enjoys catnip, but give a small amount. She also tends to loaf a lot around.

Story
Meet Sharif & Shakur! Sharif and Shakur are twin brothers with sleek, solid black coats and hearts full of love. These bonded boys were rescued as bottle babies and raised together, which has created an unbreakable bond between them. Sweet, playful, and full of personality, they’re always up to something—whether it’s chasing toys, wrestling each other, or curling up together for a nap. Their gentle, affectionate nature makes them easy to love, and they’re happiest when they’re together. Sharif and Shakur must be adopted as a pair, and they’ll thrive in a home that appreciates their playful energy and the special connection they share. If you’re looking for double the love and double the fun, these brothers are ready to be your forever companions. DOB: 2025 Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $200 for two, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, combo test, deworming, and a collar with ID tag. We require that our adopters are 21 years of age or older, keep cats indoors only (unless safely in a harness/leash or catio), and do not declaw.

Story
Thomas is a lovable boy who will make a great companion. He wants what every cat wants: a safe, comfortable home where he can be loved. Thomas appreciates the finer things in life, like a comfy bed and a delicious meal. He loves to curl up next to you or between your legs is his favorite spot. He has a sister, Duchess aka "Tiny Tot" they love to play and will cuddle in their cat house. He has only been around his sister. He has not been around other cats and dogs. Thomas likes children that are a little older. He loves it when my 10-year-old little cousin comes by. He leaves a trail of treats for Thomas to follow. I'm on a mission to find Thomas and his sister a cozy new home together. With my daughter and her newborn under my roof, these furry pals aren't quite jiving with tiny humans. Only serious inquiries, please. My heartfelt wish is for them to find a forever home because they're truly deserving. It breaks my heart that I can't keep them with me anymore.

Story
Todd is a very sweet and loving 4 year old cat. He wants all the cuddles and pets! If you’ll let him, he will be in your lap all day long. He has lived with a large dog his entire life who he has always played well with. We need to rehome him due to his stress level around our children. From the time our daughter was born (3 years ago) he began to urinate on her things. We manage this by closing doors and keeping a clean litter box but it has gotten worse as she has aged and become more active and we have welcomed another baby. Despite this stress, Todd has never been aggressive towards adults or our children. He is such a sweet boy who just wants love. We have taken him the vet and have ruled out medical causes for his behavior. Unfortunately we believe he will only be happy in a lower stress environment. He thrives with people who are calm and caring. Please help us find Todd’s forever home.

Duchess also know as Tiny Tot is a lovable girl who will make a great companion. She wants what every cat wants: a safe, comfortable home where she can be loved. Tiny Tot values the finer things in life, like a comfy bed and a delicious meal. She loves to curl up on your tummy when you least expect it. She has a brother, Thomas O'Malley, they love to play and will cuddle in their cat house. Tiny Tot takes a little more time to warm up. She does not care to be held, but will invade your space to cuddle on top of you. I'm on a mission to find Tiny Tot and her brother a cozy new home together.
