Story
Meet Harrison! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Harrison is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along their route. We cannot transport to Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine or Virginia. Harrison is a big, handsome Bombay mix with gorgeous yellow-green eyes and an even bigger personality! He may look like a serious gentleman, but he’s really a playful, affectionate goofball. He spent his early years living under a local bar before he was rescued. He was shy at first, but now he’s an absolute sweetheart. Once he trusts you, he loves cheek scratches and belly rubs, and he chirps when the pets are especially good. Wand toys are his favorite, and he’ll come running for wet food and Churu treats. **Harrison does like to love nip, because of that, a home without small children is best. He’s bonded with his buddy Rob, a creamy-grey tabby, and we’d love to see them adopted together. Harrison and Rob don't like to be held, but are complete love sponges and will lay next to you. Give him a few weeks and some patience, and Harrison will be a true ray of sunshine! Harrison is neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. He does a great job of keeping his is litterbox tidy. All he needs now is his forever home! Harrison does great with other cats. Harrison would do best is adopted out with his best buddy Rob (M) Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens, siblings, or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts! Story
Meet Tofu, a chunky little cuddle bug who deserves the BEST life indoors with lots of love! IMPORTANT INFO: - Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat - ROSES Rescues is located in Houston, TX. We transport our kitties to adopters in the Northeast and Pacific Northwest! **Cost is included in Adoption Fee.** - Tofu's adoption fee is $315. - With proper introductions Tofu may do well with another cat (better with males than females) or a calm and respectful pup. She would be fantastic as an only cat or if adopted with one of her kittens. --- Tofu was found on the streets of Houston with her two kittens (Bean and Edamame, also adoptable). They were all initially supposed to be trapped, fixed, and returned to their outdoor colony, but Tofu and her babies were way too friendly to be put back out on the street! Despite having been outdoors for the first year or two of her life, Tofu was the first to really enjoy the luxuries of an indoor life. She immediately started purring every time she saw Her Humans walk by, and it was obvious that she wanted nothing but love and a lap to snuggle on! Per her finder/foster: We suspect she didn't have the easiest life prior to being rescued, and she likely had many, many litters of kittens before Bean and Edamame. We're just glad to help be part of Tofu's journey to a forever home in a much better place!! Tofu is a pretty big cat at almost 13 lbs, but that just means there is more of her to love. She is extremely affectionate with humans and is always seeking out attention (and food of course). We haven't tried it yet, but given how food-motivated she is, you might even be able to train her to do a few tricks! --- Tofu is ~1.5-3 years old (it's very hard to pin down an exact age!), in great health, spayed, microchipped, negative for FIV/FeLV, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home! Adopt Tofu (and maybe one of her adorable kittens!), and double the love, double the purrs, and double the fun. --- The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Tofu and her kittens are currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes (cost is included in adoption fee). ——— ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Story
Meet the most charming and handsome 6-month-old baby boy Niko! Niko has the most beautiful eyes and silkiest coat. Niko loves to investigate and loves to hang with you and others. He is very playful with his sibling, Poppy and he loves his humans too. Niko enjoys being super silly and is an easy-going and easy-care kitty. For example, he lays on side and crawls along the carpet waiting to sneak up on his playmates. He loves to observe but also interacts engagingly. Niko is curious about whatever you're doing- cooking, reading, working on the computer or folding laundry. He might affectionately greet you when you come home! Some might say he has very "puppy like " qualities. He is super affectionate and seeks out love, but is also independent and happy doing his own thing. He enjoys playing with foster mates, playing alone, or just observing. He would do fine as an only cat or with a feline companion. Niko is neutered and has had all his vaccines, full vet exams, topical parasite control (includes, ticks, fleas, roundworms, tapeworms, hookworms) and microchip. He also tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Niko is litter-box trained too. Niko will likely be a medium-size cat at full grown and will be an amazing and lovable addition to your family. For more information and an adoption application, please email foster mom Lisa at birdz4lifeduh@gmail.com and please include your phone number. Niko is ready for the fun and adventure of his forever family.

Story
Pop and Smoke are 2 year-old, bonded brothers that can't be separated. They are super affectionate and pretty mellow but have different personalities. Smoke (pic 3) loves ear scratches and is a big attention hog. He's very vocal when he wants pets or is upset but prefers to cuddle on his own terms. He loves scratch posts and is a big eater. Pop (pic 4) has a distinct bump on his nose and always looks sleepy. He's very passive and sweet and loves chin rubs. He's a big cuddler but can be very floppy. He enjoys nesting in clothes and blankets and loves climbing. Unfortunately, my old roommate wasn't able to bring them when they moved, and I can no longer house them due to other pets and downsizing. I'm looking for someone who will take them both and give them all the love and climbing space they deserve.
