If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be involved in everything you do, he’s your guy. He’s extremely smart and curious, always observing, learning, and figuring things out (sometimes faster than you expect!). True to his breed, Billy Jack will bond quickly and deeply with his person and thrive in a home where he gets mental stimulation, structure, and plenty of interaction. A few important notes: Billy Jack is not good with cats, so he’ll need a cat-free home. As a highly intelligent Border Collie, he’ll do best with an adopter who understands and loves the breed and is ready to provide training, enrichment, and exercise. If you’re ready for a loyal, affectionate, brainy companion who will be your shadow and your teammate, Billy Jack is ready to meet you. Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. This playful, irresistibly cute rascal is about four months old and likely to grow to 40–50 lbs. With his expressive furry ears, love for adventure, and boundless energy, he’s learning to walk on a leash and enjoys playing with his toys.
