Hi there! My name Hiro and I'm a 3 month old Male Border Collie Mix currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus, eager for a new home! Just like a Disney adventure, my story is only beginning! Life is one big adventure, and I'm ready to experience it all! I'm a young puppy with lots of energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm for the world around me. Whether it's exploring new places, playing with toys, learning new skills, or spending time with my people, I'm always excited to be part of the action. Like all puppies, I'm still learning the ropes and will need a family that's committed to helping me grow into a happy, well-mannered adult dog. That means continuing my potty training, crate training, socialization, and basic manners. A consistent routine, positive reinforcement, and plenty of patience will help me build confidence and succeed! I will also need daily physical exercise and mental enrichment to keep my busy puppy brain engaged. Think: walks, training sessions, puzzle toys, playtime, and opportunities to learn new things. The good news is that you won't have to do it alone. SBH offers puppy classes to help set both of us up for success and provide guidance as I continue learning and growing! If you're looking for a playful companion who's ready to fill your home with laughter, adventure, and lots of love, I might just be the one. Like all animals at Santa Barbara Humane, before going home I will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption also includes a complimentary post-adoption health exam with a participating local veterinary clinic as well as a supply of Hill's Science Diet food to help make my first few days at home a little easier. If you're ready to welcome me or another animal into your family, stop by during adoption hours—daily from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., except Wednesdays. No appointment or advance notice is required! Hi there! My name is Scout and I’m a 6 month old male Border Collie Mix currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus! Scout is active, intelligent, and is a big fan of playing in water. As a young dog, Scout is still learning some basic manners and is looking for a family willing to learn with him. Scout prefers squeaky toys (the larger the better), and is always down for a Kong or puzzle toy to keep him busy. Ready for your next adventure buddy? Come and meet Scout! Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. With time and great care by the volunteers and staff, we know that demeanor was just because of his circumstance, not his personality.Affectionate, happy, playful and easy to leash and walk, we`re now scratching our heads why this fun sized heeler mix is still with us. He is best buddies with another resident, Rocky, and they are a laugh riot watching play together.
