Story
Hi, I’m Gary! I’m a gentle, sensitive boy who’s looking for a calm home where I can settle in and truly shine. I’ve lived with other dogs before and may do well with a canine companion who matches my easygoing vibe and gives me a little time to feel comfortable. I can be a little shy at first, but once I know I’m safe, my sweet personality starts to come through. I enjoy quiet companionship, spending time with my people, and taking things at a slower pace. I also do well with other dogs in playgroups, where I’m respectful and take corrections nicely. I’d thrive in a patient, loving home where I can continue building confidence and enjoying all the good things life has to offer. Underneath it all, I’m just a kindhearted boy who wants to feel loved and safe. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart and soft eyes, I’d love to meet you.

Story
WOOF! I'M ROCCO! I'm a 2-year-old Border Collie-Flat-Coat mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was recently rescued from a crowded California shelter, where I was impounded as a stray. I then was adopted, but returned less than 24 hours later as someone in the house had allergies. Fortunately I was rescued and now am ready for a foster or forever home! I have done great with other dogs and am a happy, playful boy. I love to play with other dogs and hang out with humans. I weigh 59 lbs. Could you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in California and available to meet! Please email for an application.

Breed: Border Collie X DOB: 2/2024 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: large Color(s): black / white Description:Hi, I'm Sadie, a remarkable and resilient young Border Collie mix with a heart as big as the challenges I've overcome. After being rescued with my nine newborn puppies, I faced health issues and injuries with unwavering courage. But now, I'm ready to leave my past behind and find a forever family to call my own. I am a gentle soul who craves love and attention. With a calm and friendly demeanor, I welcome all the pets, kisses, and treats life has to offer. My sweet and quiet nature will instantly capture your heart. Imagine leisurely walks together, where my easy-going temperament shines through, and cozy nights in, where my loving presence warms your soul.I'm a beautiful black and white pup who not only survived but thrived. I'm very quiet and keep a close watch on my person and house especially at night. I'm still learning to trust the resident cat in my foster home, but I'm getting better every day. I enjoy being brushed outside in the morning, doing a few zoomies to show my appreciation, then laying in the grass to sunbathe. I've never had an accident in the house and I'll even let you know when I have to go outside. I'm learning to walk on a leash and to not be so nervous around traffic and children riding bicycles/scooters. I understand 'NO', 'wait' and 'back'. I enjoy car rides especially when we go get burgers, but I'm still learning to get into the car. I take treats very nicely; I'm a very polite girl. I'm a bit nervous with strangers approach me, but do better if they let me approach them.My resilience and adaptability are a testament to my unwavering spirit. With ongoing care and medication, I am on the path to recovery and will continue to bring joy and devotion to those around me. I'm more than just a loving companion; I'm a symbol of strength and a reminder that second chances exist. If you're looking for a loyal and devoted friend to cherish and adore, consider opening your heart and home to extraordinary me. Could you be the loving and patient person I have been waiting for? Story
Chino is a good dog for the right home, but he has two flaws: he doesn't care to share an environment with any other dogs, and he can escape from almost any confinement. Since we like Border Collies in general, and since he was "overdue" at his animal shelter one day when we were there picking up another dog, he was also chosen and saved. We quickly learned that the part of Chino that is not Border Collie is probably one of the tundra breeds like Malamute, because we had to fully enclose every inch of his kennel to keep him in. (This was after he escaped from four previous attempts to kennel him.) The good news is that after escaping he only wanted to stay by the side of his human friends here at the rescue, so he'll need a pretty much constant human companion. Chino is about 3 years old and weighs about 80 pounds.

Story
Dip is a neutered male young adult, approximately 17-18 months old. Dip was found emaciated along with his sister Dot in a ditch in Santa Paula at around 5/6 months, they were rescued by Blue Light Canine Foundation. Dog friendly, can be people shy but warms up quickly. I believe fast moving loud kids would spook him. He does have some chase drive with small prey animals. Dip is a high energy young Border Collie and needs an experienced home who can meet his needs. He would thrive in an active home and I think he would be a fun little sport dog if someone wanted to go in that direction with him. He loves to work and learn new things! He knows sit and down but is also learning stay, focus, leave it, place and loose leash walking, as well as some tricks for fun! Located in Camarillo, CA. Email me at kaylee_voneschen@yahoo.com if you have any questions about this sweet boy!

Story
Juni will need to be picked up in Rancho Cucamonga, CA where she is currently in foster care. Hi, I'm Juni (short for Juniper)! I'm a young, 1-year-old Miniature Aussie with a heart full of love. My world is full of wonder and curiosity. I love exploring new things and I'm a playful pup always ready for a game of fetch or a fun romp in the yard. I'm very affectionate and love to cuddle and snuggle up for a good nap or for a pet on my soft fur. My gentle nature and friendly spirit make me a great companion and I am just the right size to care for (appox 30 lbs). I've got energy to spare and a tail that won't stop wagging. But what I want most is a family to share all my love and energy with. Adopting me means boundless love, and a faithful friend forever. My adoption fee is $400 and I have an appointment to be spayed in January. Email Alphadogpetrescue@yahoo.com for an application to adopt me at I am located near Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Story
Hi friends I’m Kona! I’m a happy girl who loves to play and go for adventures. I am one year old and I love my foster family including my foster bro Hank who will sometimes play with me and teach me doggy things! I love to go on adventures and meet new friends and play with other dogs. I have a good friend, Masie, that I go on adventures with and we run around the park. She runs faster that me and I love that! Last week we went to Big Bear together and went on lot’s of long hikes in the woods. We had so much fun! I really like to hang out with my friends and try to figure out what my humans are doing. Currently my fav place is between foster moms legs while she is cooking and cleaning so I can make sure its done right! Foster mom is teaching me to walk calmly on a leash and I am trying but sometimes the world is so exciting that I pull a little. Foster mom says I find joy in everything but sometimes have a hard time settling down cause I don’t want to miss anything. So true!! BTW she says I am really smart and I am learning fast!! Yay! I have learned to potty outside, have quiet time in my crate and sleep in my crate all night without a peep. I am a really good girl!! Please come meet me to see if you want to be my forever family! Kona is a shepherd, pit, heeler mix, about 50 lbs, who would thrive in an active home with a yard and another active dog to play with. She is just over a year old and still needs training in puppy manners and leash work. She needs a home were she can run and play and get lots of exercise. With a patient family that will help her learn and guide her. Kona is great in the car and good with baths. She is a joyful, happy, friendly girl ready for her forever family. To adopt Kona please fill out an adoption application. www.allforloveanimalrescue.org/adoption-application
