Story
Our goal is to find him a permanent, loving home that can truly give him the attention, structure, and activity level he needs and deserves. We recently welcomed a newborn and currently live in an apartment, which we now realize is not an appropriate environment for his breed and energy level. He needs an owner who can dedicate the time, training, and physical activity that a Border Aussie requires, ideally with a suitable home and secure yard. We previously believed we had found his forever home. He was placed with a family for approximately 6.5 weeks in a household with four cats. He adjusted well, played appropriately, and formed a bond with one of the cats in particular. Everything appeared to be going very well until recently, when he was playing with the cat and became too rough. Unfortunately, the incident resulted in the cat needing stitches. The family was shocked, as they stated he had shown no other aggressive behavior. He’s been in a home with a cat before and was fine.

Story
Willow is a 10 month old border collie female mix. She was given to us by family, unfortunately we do not have the space to continue to house her. Willow is highly and extremely energetic. She is friendly and does amazing with meeting new people and loves children. She can be timid around dogs. Needs exposure. She loves running, playing with chew toys. This breed of dog requires a lot of mental stimulation. Willow gets bored easily when not stimulated. She needs a large area to run and play and an owner who is confident and willing to give her the attention she deserves. Willow has been trained to stay outdoors and sleeps indoors in a crate overnight. She is not house trained as she is not allowed to freely roam in the inside of a house. Willow potty’s outside and can hold her potty overnight while in the crate. Willow is learning to be leash trained but has issues with pulling and jumping. Willow is still nipping and needs strong training to contain her excitement.
