Story
Border Collie maleWe thought he was a done deal! But Tarzans foster decided he is not a fit for this household. She is happy to hold him while we work on this. Tarzan is 3 years old, and trusted in the house unsupervised. He's fantastic with the family and coexists with a couple other hounds, who would rather Tarzan stay a guest! Tarzan went in to foster care very sweet, and loving with everyone the humans and their other dogs loved him! As Tarzan got comfortable, he started claiming the adult human female in their house. He wants her all to his own self. He is good with other dogs, if you have friends with dogs or take him around other dogs. He would just be a perfect only dog. A lot of times we need a dog to be in a home with dogs. So here a good opportunity for a one dog gig! The foster is recommending a no cat home as well. But he's great with kids and all people. Tarzan is in Orange, Ca. More photos and updates:  https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1622189228742725&type=3 Interested in Tarzan? Story
Cattle Dog mix, femaleTiny heeler alert! Gypsy is nothing but sweetness.  Gypsy is around two years old; a cattle dog mix.  She was a little shy at foster, but not anymore!  Gypsy has been hanging out close to her crate, she loves her crate. But I'm encouraging her to hang out on a dog bed with us.  She's housebroken. And sticks close when we're outside. She had a little leash training to do, but she's doing great in a leash now too. Gypsy is very nice with my calm dogs, and noticeably less patient with the curious juveniles. But overall, she's very appropriate with other dogs. She is spayed, chipped, and up to date on shots.  Gypsy is turn key! Gypsy is in Templeton, CA. Story
Australian Shepherd mix, femaleWelcome Molly!  Her beauty is unmatched and her spirit even lovelier. She doesn’t know a stranger and touch is her love language.  Her fosters  have taken some time to get to know her and here is what they have to report: Molly is 100% sweetheart. She loves her people to the Nth degree. Scratch that, she loves ALL people to the Nth degree. Arguably maybe too much sometimes. If you get down on the ground, you will have a dog right up in your face, and if you're not careful you're tripping on her. She's moderately treat motivated, but 100% affection motivated when it comes to training. She responds really well to gentle correction. Her paperwork says she's 1 Y, 40lbs but she acts like a big puppy. She's a little ornery, and very bouncy and goofy. She must have at least 10 lbs of 1980's crimped fur in that curled up tail alone. She’s working on leash and house manners and picking things up quickly. She’s bunked up with a few cats and the verdict is still out there as to whether or not we can say she’s bombproof with them. Doesn’t chase the indoor cat but outdoors it’s game on and by that we think she’s just trying to play. She curious and cautious around livestock and managed to be quite helpful to her foster dad in rounding up a stray cow. Molly is located in Templeton, CA. She is microchipped, spayed, and UTD on vaccines. She appears to be an Australian shepherd mix. Story
Cattle dog mix, male puppyWe pulled him on Tuesday and it’s barely even Thursday - he’s already walking in a perfect heel. They don’t come this way. He was frozen as soon as the leash went on. Lucky for Cargo (and his future family) he’s bunked up with a dog trainer. You can guarantee he’s going to come with all the basics. Cargo is clearly a fast learner. The fulfillment he’s getting from using his brain is helping build confidence and connection to the handler. His shy days are looking more in the rear view and what’s left is a beautiful, happy, ready to learn and please, affectionate boy. Cargo is a 5-6 month old, 36lb Heeler mix. He is dog social (in fact we think it’s best if he goes to a home with another dog), cats and small critters unknown at this time. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night. He’s an all around good boy with tons of potential. Apply now and get your best friend tomorrow! Located in Visalia, CA Cargo is microchipped, on a vaccine schedule, and can go home on a neuter contract.
