Story
Molly was born on September 11, 2024. We adopted her from a family in Clovis, CA. when she was 12 weeks old. Molly is sweet, and very playful. Molly has been spayed by Woods in Atascadero, CA. We are looking for a loving family for Molly, she needs more attention than we are able to give to her as we both have demanding full-time jobs. Molly would be wonderful with children, she loves to play and would be ideal for a family who has time to dedicate to her, walks, runs, etc. Molly is very smart she can sit on demand.

Story
Border Collie/Aussie mix femaleWelcome Mae! Mae is a Border Collie/ Aussie / kelpie mix. She was intentionally bred by some ranchers and then kicked to the curb at a very young age because she didn’t show working potential. Some former CCHDR adopters got wind of this and took her in temporarily - got her spayed, up to date on vaccines, and then reached out to us for help with placement. Mae is super sweet and friendly with people, kids, and other dogs. NO cats, chickens, or livestock. She’s HIGH energy and intelligent…all the things you’d expect from a dog of this breed makeup. She’s young too - only 9 months old, 30-35lbs. She’s got some manners and basic obedience to learn, but has her wits about her. She just needs a dedicated and training-focused handler to make up for lost time. She is crate trained. Mae is looking to be someone’s pet. She will need an active, breed-savvy home to keep up with her mentally and physically. Do you have what it takes to keep a dog of this caliber fulfilled? If so, send us an application. Story
Border Collie/Aussie mix maleMeet Messi! He looks like a cross of a Border Collie and an Australian Shepherd. His colors are more like a border, and he has the best demeanor of both breeds.  Messi and his sister Simone look to be around one year old.  Messi is fantastic with all people and definitely other dogs! He's soft and fluffy. Only one year, he definetely stiill sports a fuzzy puppy coat.  He’s perfect on pack walks but doesn’t like to get his feet wet. Messi is not just solid off leash! He's impressive! And he's a porch dog. Doesn't go, unless I do too. Messi is really happy go lucky dude. He'll be so happy when he gets his for good gig!  Messi is neutered, chipped and up to date on vaccinations. Border Collie/Aussie mix femaleMeet Simone Simone is a 1 year old Border Collie/Aussie mix.  She has Aussie colors but the shape of a border collie. Simone is sweet, and perfect with the rest of the rescue pack.   Simone was running around loose in Tulare City for months before she made it into the shelter. She’s here with her brother Messi but they can go to different forever homes.  Simone is a very nice dog. I can't believe she needs a home.  Someone is going to get lucky. Story
Buddy is a sweet, playful, and affectionate 2-year-old, 55-lb neutered male Border Collie mix who’s searching for his forever home. He’s social, active, and loves engaging with his people—whether that’s playtime, walks, or learning something new. He's leash-trained and loves to play fetch, showcasing his athletic side and attentive nature. He's ready to be your adventure pal and loves to calm down with belly rubs and love and affection. True to his breed, Buddy is very intelligent and responsive to guidance. He listens well and thrives with an adopter who enjoys working with a smart, energetic dog. Because Border Collies can be naturally mouthy, Buddy would do best in an adult-only home or with an experienced family with children over 10 years old who understand and respect canine boundaries. Buddy is a healthy, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations—ready to step right into his next chapter with a loving home. 🐾 Buddy is currently being fostered in the Los Angeles area, but transport can be arranged to any U.S. location. Interested in adopting Buddy? Please send an email to info@olliesangelsaws.org or call 702-769-4474.

Story
Cattle Dog mix female  Meet Rhonda!  Rhonda is a 4 year old beautiful Heeler.  It’s hard to understand why she was on the streets of Tulare City.  No one came to claim her.  Rhonda is just gorgeous! She's got a sleek, shiny coat. And she's so good! She's great in the house, rode to rescue in a crate, cruised up to her temp yard, on a loose lead like a queen. And she's fantastic with all the dogs she's been introduced to, and now living with.  Rhonda is like a lot of the heelers who get snatched up quick. She isn't a puppy and knows the drill. Rhonda is spayed, chipped and up to date on vaccinations. Rhonda is residing in Templeton. More photos and updates:  https://www.facebook.com/www.cchdrescue.org/  search in posts and photo albums. Cattle Dog mix, femaleClaire is a 2 year old heeler mix with a cute little naturally bobbed tail.  Claire is great sport. Nice girl. Easy going. Totally nice with other dogs.  With so many dogs at the rescue right now, it's good to have a sensible adult dog join the pack! Claire was able to be off leash right away and took her cues from the resident dogs.  Claire is a bit of a heeler mix. Her head looks like border collie. Claire is spayed, chipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Claire is in Templeton, CA More photos and updates:  https://www.facebook.com/www.cchdrescue.org/  search in posts and photo albums. Story
Aussie mix, femaleChica is a 4-yr old, 59 lbs. Aussie mix, probably with German Shepherd. She came in from Kern County. No room there for a big girl.  She's absolutely lovely with my dogs. And went without saying, she's very respectful of people. Gentle too. Doesn't jump, very nice on leash.  Chica needed some exercise and attention.  She's got a routine. She knows where she's eating, sleeping, walking. She hasn’t been on an off leash walk yet, but you can tell it's imminent. It's just that she didn't know this name. But she sees the whistle brings everyone. So we're doing long line recall with the whistle on our walks. She's doing great!  Chica is spayed, chipped, and up to date on vaccines. Chica is in Templeton. More photos and updates:  https://www.facebook.com/www.cchdrescue.org/  search in posts and photo albums.
