Border Collie femaleStreak is a one-year old Border Collie.  She came into rescue with her momma dog and a sibling, but they will be adopted out separately.  Streak is around 35 pounds. All three, what can we say, Border Collies have a definite theme. Calm, sweet, loyal, smart and sweet (Said it twice for a reason!) Maybe occasionally there are exceptions, but these three fit the definition of a Border Collie. And they did have great breeding. It's obvious. Sweet, soft, looking to connect, each one has had her muzzle my face, searching. trying to forge a bond. Every border collie is ultimately looking for that bond with their human. Streak is good with all the other dogs. Beautiful with all people, and learning to walk on leash. Streak is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and chipped. Meet Chuck!Chuck is a handsome, sweet 9-month-old Border Collie puppy who turns heads everywhere he goes. He’s already a big boy with more growing to do, so his future family should be ready for a large, silly, snuggly pal. His foster family raves about him!Training/Crating: Chuck is potty-trained and crate-trained, and will happily nap in his crate by choice during the day. He’s also been left out while his foster is away without causing any destruction.Dog-friendly: Chuck loves making new dog friends and is gentle despite his size. His current best friend is an 8-week-old puppy he lets crawl all over him. Meet Bella! Ms. Bella is the ultimate family dog and is thriving in her foster home. Bella is gentle, peaceful and just happy to be around you and go with the flow. Dropping kids off at school, cooking in the kitchen, doing chores, reading bedtime stories, working in the garden . . . Bella is your trusty sidekick! She loves to play fetch and will bring her ball or toy right to your feet. She loves a stroll around the neighborhood or beach, or going for a car ride. She doesn’t require miles a day, but sure is excited to go where you’re going. It is clear that Bella was well loved by her previous family, because she is affectionate, seeks connection, and is accepting of everyone and every dog she has met. Mom and dad are being altered as a condition of the pups coming to rescue.   Raider arrived at rescue with his brother Timmy.  Their littermate Reese has already been adopted out through CCHDR.  Here’s what our all-star dog trainer foster has to report:   Raider is a fast learner. He is already very good in the house. He has medium energy so far and is just happy to hang out as he decompress and learns how to be a good canine citizen.
