Border Collie femaleTri is a one-year old Border Collie.  She came into rescue with her momma dog and a sibling, but they will be adopted out separately.  Tri is around 35 pounds. All three, what can we say, Border Collies have a definite theme. Calm, sweet, loyal, smart and sweet (Said it twice for a reason!) Maybe occasionally there are exceptions, but these three fit the definition of a Border Collie. And they did have great breeding. It's obvious. Sweet, soft, looking to connect, each one has had her muzzle my face, searching. trying to forge a bond. Every border collie is ultimately looking for that bond with their human. Tri is good with all the other dogs. Beautiful with all people, and learning to walk on leash. Tri is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and chipped. Meet Betty. Smart, goofy, but stoic. Is a good gaurd dog, not immediately trusting of every single human. But for her person, she is an abundantly loving and sweet dog. She’s good with both male and female dogs that shes familiar with, otherwise shes slightly shy. At the dog park she stays near by, playing occasionally with others. At home, she lets her true personality shine, and due to not being a year old yet- still has some puppy energy.She has no food aggression, no resource guarding of any kind. She is crate trained, house trained and knows her commands to wait to eat, sit, and lay down. Does good on a leash but does pull with traditional harness, so I use a gentle leader and she walks like an angel. It’s the blue lead on her mouth in photos. Shes also got a clean bill of health from the vet.Only rehoming because the family member I live with died, and I can’t afford the place we live in. I’m moving and she needs a yard, an apartment is not enough for her.
