Border Collie maleWe thought he was a done deal! But Tarzans foster decided he is not a fit for this household. She is happy to hold him while we work on this. Tarzan is 3 years old, and trusted in the house unsupervised. He's fantastic with the family and coexists with a couple other hounds, who would rather Tarzan stay a guest! Tarzan went in to foster care very sweet, and loving with everyone the humans and their other dogs loved him! As Tarzan got comfortable, he started claiming the adult human female in their house. He wants her all to his own self. He is good with other dogs, if you have friends with dogs or take him around other dogs. He would just be a perfect only dog. A lot of times we need a dog to be in a home with dogs. So here a good opportunity for a one dog gig! The foster is recommending a no cat home as well. But he's great with kids and all people. Hi there! My name is Esmeralda and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I am a 2 month old female Border collie mix looking for my new home. I can start off shy and a bit timid. After some patience and treats I will start to come out of my shell. I love to run, play, and eat! I enjoy being held and cuddled can't get enough ear scratches and tummy rubs Looking for a fun time with a companion by your side?!? Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission. Hope to see you soon!
