Hi! My name is Daisy. I am a 3-year-old female, Border Collie Queensland Heeler cross. I was surrendered here to the shelter because I have a passion for herding small animals - cats and small dogs. I love big dogs and have made some friends here at the shelter. At the shelter, I come off as a bit shy and aloof. However, that is probably just because this place is a bit overwhelming. Away from here, I am sure I will open up and be your best companion. I like to take walks - I am a bit overweight and would benefit from a few nice long ones. I also love water - beach trips or any body of water will do. I am crate trained which makes me an easy keeper from the start. Anyway, I am also adorable, as you can see. My profile does say I am not potty trained so we can work on that - crate, walks and treats for good behavior and I will be potty trained quickly- I am a smart and willing girl. I want to be your best friend and will do just about anything to make that happen.

He thrives at the park and the beach, where he’s calm, playful, and happy. At home, Watson becomes very protective of both the house and our 9-year-old son. Because of this, we’re unable to have people over, and it has become difficult to host other children. As hard as it is for our family, we’ve made the decision to rehome him so our son can have friends visit safely. Watson would do best in a home **without children or other dogs**, with someone who understands his protective nature and can give him the structure and environment he needs. He truly is a loving companion—just not the right fit for our home.

Bill is a 3-year-old neutered Queensland boy who’s spent most of his life outdoors. True to his breed, he is high-energy and would thrive with a job and the appropriate mental and physical engagement. He does have a history of chasing cattle—and cats—so he’s best suited as a companion dog with a savvy owner or a ranch that can safely provide the appropriate separation between him and the farm animals. Bill has been known to be a bit of an escape artist, so secure fencing is a must. Bill is naturally submissive, gentle at heart, and incredibly sweet once he feels safe. He’s still learning that people are pretty great, and with patience and kindness he’s starting to really enjoy human company. Bill would thrive with a calm, understanding owner who can help him continue building confidence and show him what being a loved dog is all about. He did live previously with other female dogs but would need slow and appropriate introductions to other dogs to determine if they will be a good match.
